Neither of our kids' names are on there! But there are some really great names on that list... many of my favorites, for sure!

Wow, i think my LO's name was in the teens on SSA last year and it's not even on this list! That makes me pretty happy

all our favourite girls names are on there (rose, caroline, alice, willa, maeve) but our two favourite boy names aren't (clark and reid). although i was pushing hard for asher last night and it's nice to see other people like it too!

DD's name is there, but was in the 400s on last year's SSA list...I'm just hoping people are looking it up but not choosing it!

Future LOs name isn't on there... I saw it in Pottery Barn Kids recently and thought it was suddenly going to be super popular.

Both my kid's names are on the list but around the middle. I looove Amelia but DH vetoed it. I also can't believe Katniss is being used. So weird.

LO's name is in the 70s here. It's in the 60s on the 2013 SSA list. I have never known of anyone in real life (except my great great aunt with this name.)
Her middle name is on the list too, as well as the name we'll probably choose if we ever have another girl. Oh well!

I'm surprised Imogen is #1 cause personally I haven't heard it much! I can't believe Khaleesi for real made it to 18!

#1 is Asher?! Wow... we seriously considered that name for our son, but it had too much potential to be made fun of when combined with our last name. We do know a couple Ashers now though. I don't know any Imogen's!

I'm kinda surprised how popular the name Eleanor is! Lo's name is Eleanor and I'm pretty sure it wasn't so well-known when she was born (In New Zealand anyway!)

I'm shocked to see Louisa on the list! We went back and forth on spelling and ended up w/Luisa for DD, but I haven't met anyone who seems to love her name IRL. Although online friends tend to like it, and that's probably the type of like-minded, awesome person to frequent nameberry.
All of our finalists for DD#2 are on the list, and all of them were vetoed because we thought they would end up super popular. (We should probably decide on a name for her at some point, though...)

@NurseMommy: I don't watch GoT but I watch Pretty Little Liars and the main character from that show is named Aria pernounced the way you have it. Didn't realize it was on 2 different popular shows! Love the name though.

@Mrs. High Heels: These are names most searched not most actually given. Others have brought up good points that you might read about a more unusual name out of curiosity but not plan to use it.
