We started sleep training LO doing modified CIO (although the checks didn't really help so really it ended up being full CIO). It's been a few days and working so well. Barely cried at all last night before falling asleep. I haven't been doing training for naps because the book I'm using said to start with bedtime first, and I know naps can take longer. We usually have to rock LO and put in the pacifier until he's almost fully asleep before putting in the crib.

For this current nap, he didn't seem to want the pacifier so I just put him down in the crib and went to the bathroom. Came back and he was asleep! I'm in shock. Just wondering, if you sleep trained, did naps naturally improve on their own, or did you have to nap train? I'm trying to figure out if this was just a fluke or what!
