LO is a rock star sleeper at night now (finally) - goes down really easily in the evenings around 7, puts herself to sleep, STTN 11 hours consistently for months now. Yay.

Naps are a TOTAL NIGHTMARE. We originally nap trained her when she was maybe 9 months old, and for a while was able to go down for both naps on her own.

Then her afternoon nap got tricky and she started skipping it. The only way we'd be able to get her down is if DH rocked her to sleep, which he hasn't had to do since she was like 5 months old.

Now she is starting to fight her am nap as well. Yesterday I rocked her to sleep for the am nap and she completely refused her afternoon nap.

I think she's too young to get ready to drop it? And she's FAR TOO OLD for us to be rocking her to sleep!

We try leaving her to CIO for naps when we can't get her down and usually can't last longer than 15-20 mins... now that she is older, it's so sad to watch her get hysterical and cry big crocodile tears and yell for us. I'm not sure how long it would take for her to finally fall asleep - she is SUPER SUPER stubborn.

Any advice would be appreciated, poor kid is so sleep-deprived!
