Does anyone have any home remedies for nausea? I just puked and have to go to my nephews bday party tonight - an hour drive away
I've heard sour things are a good option.

I used to snack on French bread. Keeping a little something in my stomach helped, but nothing truly made me feel better.

Ginger ale or ginger chews/candy(I didn't really like the taste but they seemed to help a teeny bit). Always having food in my stomach was the biggest thing, so if I started feeling at all nauseous I would have something to eat immediately-- granola bar, crackers, cheerios, dried fruit, whatever. And yeah sour candy did seem good, not sure why, but I bought a pack of Icebreakers sours that were really good at the time.
I don't remember-- is this morning sickness, or are you just nauseous unrelated to pregnancy?

Oh nos : ( So sorry! Sour candy to suck on can help. Sipping on cold water & always having something on my stomach (crackers, granola bar) helped some. Unfortunately, nothing cured it for good. Having a bag/ziplock in the car in case you need to puke during the drive may be a good idea.
Hope you get to feeling better!

Coke always really helped me! Not sure if other fizzy drinks work as well...

Strong mints and gum helped me. Water by itself made me vomit but water with a slice of lemon was good. Making sure I was never hungry. And I'd try to do the driving, bc it can take your mind off being nauseous.

I swore by ginger candy and had some in my pocket at all times! Also saltines and carbonated drinks like ginger ale, Orangina, etc

I always had peppermints or wintergreens with me... They usually helped unless vomiting was inevitable.

@MrsH: Crunching ice really helped. I don't know why. I tried ginger snaps, ginger ale . . . several things. Nothing worked for me except for crunching ice!

Ginger ale, Coke, peppermints, jolly ranchers, saltines, and butterscotch candies all helped me but nothing completely eliminated the nausea. Good luck tomorrow!
