That seems pretty good! I think we paid around that, maybe a bit more or less and were also in a large city.

I only paid 65$ for mine, so I'm probably not the best judge of cost! It included a bit over an hour of shooting, a few outfits/background changes, and complete rights to all the edited pics (there were about 30 in the end).

I'm paying $240 for maternity & a year of infant pics... but I'm in the minority I'm sure!

That sounds pretty good for a large metro area. I'm also in a large metro area and our photographer offers a package of 3 sessions in the first year (we're using one for maternity), you get all the digital images plus an 11x14 print from each session, and each session is around $450. I have seen other photogs for much less, but I am super picky about the style of pictures so finding the right person was important to me.

Sounds like a pretty good price for a metro area! I will say I paid more than double that.

The $350 includes the images?! That is an AWESOME deal . . . we paid a lot more for ours!

My photog would do it for about $250, but then again, she's not a backdrop kind of photog, if that makes sense...It's probably less because she doesn't have to include the cost of the props.

This seems like a great price. I'm finding most photogs I've looked at want to charge around $700 minimum and that doesn't include all high res images.

That sounds like a really good deal to me. I looked into newborn pics a couple weeks ago and most photographers wanted over $1000 for the images. We didn't want to spend more than $500, I finally got a recommendation from FB for someone to do the shoot for $500 with 15 or so images. She is also doing a "mini-maternity" shoot for an additional $100 (with 8 or so images).

This was by far the best deal I could find (and her work is good).

$350 is what we paid for the shoot and the cd but it was the cheapest I could find around. Many people in our area charge up to $1500.
