We're finally starting to look at / buy clothes for the baby. (I'm 32 weeks and a few days--due in February and live up north.) We're thinking that the outfits that make the most sense in newborn and 3-month sizes are the cotton long sleeved, footed one-pieces. Am I right that we don't want to be dealing with separate pants (like over a onesie) right away? It just looks like there are so many adorable options with onesies/pants, and fewer of the all-one-piece, but it seems like one piece is more practical for those first couple of months. Also, there is a lot of fleece out there. Wouldn't fleece be too warm for a baby who will (hopefully!) be doing lots of swaddling and sleeping?
First timer over here (obviously) who is feeling clueless and needs help!!
it's my first little girl, and i'm determined to dress her up like a doll baby every day. most people seem to recommend sleep and plays for newborns though.
