Has anybody used nexplanon or Implanon? What was your experience?

I've had Nex for over a year and I love it. I don't have anything bad to say about it. I don't have any side effect, my sex drive is the same, and I've had my period 2-3 times in the last year which I find awesome. When it does come it still arrives on the usual week, too. I've got two other friends who also have it and they also have really good things to say about it. I'm not going to have a kid anytime soon but I like that I can take it out at anytime and start trying, if I wanted to. Do you have any specific questions?

I am seriously considering getting one! I can't for the life of me remember to take my BCPs even with a reminder set on my phone...I just have too much going on. I need to ask my doctor if I can take it while breastfeeding. Good to know your experience has been good, I don't know anyone who has had it.

When did you have your first period on it? I just got my first starting last week. Waiting for it to end. Lol. I kinda knew that AF was gonna come because I got the implant around O time. How long was the first for? When are you planning to ttc again?

I know only one person who had it, and she got KU while on it! But I am sure that's one of the freak instances....

@matador84: totally compatible with breast feeding, as are all progesterone only methods
