I asked awhile ago if Finn could work as a nickname for Stephen. The answer was mostly a yes. However my aunt got a puppy and named him...Finn! There goes that idea.

I am not pregnant but my husband would like to name a boy, if we are blessed with one, after him. This would make the baby a III. My FIL lives with us. Because of this I feel like we have a lot of Steve's and that adding one more is kind of redundant.

I was thinking of potential nicknames and Vin(ny) popped out. Does this work?

Again, this is still just hypothetical but I am curious if anyone else can see this working. If we were to have a boy and name him that I would probably alternate between calling him Stephen and Vin(ny).
