Did anyone have night sweats postpartum? If so, how long did it last? I had this after A was born but thought it was because it was hot outside and I can't remember how long it lasted.

Yes! It was hot here, too, but our bedrooms are cold. I don't remember for certain now, but I think it lasted a few weeks? Maybe 2-3?

yes! i think about 2 weeks? I think i remember reading that it is partly your body getting rid of all the excess fluid you carried around during the pregnancy? that made me feel less crazy when dealing with it at least...hope it is over for you soon!

Ugh, not looking forward to those again! I don't think they lasted me more than 2 weeks, but I just remember waking up so cold and having to deal with a hungry baby!

Omg this was the worst for me. It lasted for months! 2.5 I think! It was the worst feeling. I actually had no idea about night sweats so it was extra terrible.

Definitely had this for probably a month? I still have it on occasion these days at 6mo pp but luckily it's not as intense or as frequent!

Ugh I think that was the worst part of PP for me. They lasted a month at least and I felt sooo disgusting!

It was maybe 3 months for me, but my thyroid was also all over the place post-partum which contributed to many a nasty and sweaty hot flash.

I can't remember but it was definitely weeks and way, way worse with Charlie because I had a c-section with him and gained a lot more weight. I would wake up in the the middle of the night drenched in sweat and leaking milk. I had no idea about the sweating!

I'm going to say it was about a month. And I had never read/heard about them, so I was like, "Uhh...wtf?" I had a January baby, so it was cold out.
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
definitely for a couple weeks. it was ridiculous. I lost over 30 pounds from pre-labor to 2 weeks PP and I swear I sweated half of it out. hormones are not my friend. at least in was January!

I had them for about a month. It was gross...BUT I'm pretty sure I basically sweated out all the excess water weight I was carrying around, so at least that was good!

I'm sorry to say this, but I'm pretty sure mine lasted about 6 weeks. They were SO gross.
