My LO wants to have her 5th bday at a jump place. We have to invite her entire TK class so that pushes us close to the maximum number of kids (30) if I also invite her close friends from preschool, cousins and of course sister. (Everyone age 2-18 counts) Her friends from preschool have siblings that are babies or too old (13& 14) to want to attend parties. Most of her TK classmates all have lots of siblings close in age...how can I nicely say that they can't come? or should I wait for RSVPs? Or is it not necessary to say? I don't know or see a lot of the parents at her school so I can't bring it up casually in person.
Most of LO's friends are 4 or 5 so I am not sure if parents will be ok with dropping off. My MIL, FIL, husband, SIL and BIL can help keep an eye on the kids if it is a drop off party.
My BFF thinks I should be very clear and put "due to space capacity we will not be able to accommodate siblings" on the invite.
What do you think? Our parties have been at home with smaller guest lists so siblings were always welcome in the past!
