DD JUST had her fourth birthday, and as a result we have more candy in the house than usual.
So for Easter I plan on buying some plastic eggs to fill with small treats.
What are your favourite non-candy suggestions?
I'm thinking jewelry from the dollar store in one or two eggs.

My mom used to put coins in some! She would also hide one 'special' egg with $5 in it.
Plastic jewelry, fake tattoos, little animal figures, small lip balms (we thought they were lipsticks).

I bought a box of duplos last year and distributed them among all the eggs. For a 4 year old, you could do normal size legos.
This year, I think I will do stickers, temp tattoos, and hair things.

My SIL does the Easter egg hunt for the family and they're a no-sugar family. She puts in dollar store finds: small raisin boxes, headbands, little jewelry, stickers, toys, coins, gems or marbles, tiny nail polish. The kids dig it and don't miss the candy!

They have bags of little balls in the dollar spot at Target right now. We are going to put a ball into some eggs. We are also putting pennies in some, little bracelets and stickers.
