I have been getting nosebleeds now for the last few months, however the frequency of them has increased the last month or so. Is this a normal pregnancy symptom? I don't remember ever getting them with my first! I wonder if it's a combination with the dry/cold air or if I should be concerned. They are usually short-lived and usually occur when I'm in the shower in the morning.

I had them, not too many, but if I blew my nose in the morning there would often be a little blood. A neti pot/sinus wash really helped me. My two LOs were early winter babies, so I think pregnancy combined with dry air in the apartment really contributed to the nosebleeds.

i get them, but the dry air really exasperates it

I'll mention it on Wednesday, but I haven't been too concerned since they stop pretty quickly. I've been using nasal spray/neti pot, but still get them!

@LuLu Mom: Saline sprays dry your nose out more...so you may want to cut back. It's salt water, after all!

I had them ALL the time. The dr. said that sometimes the hormones affect your sinuses or something like that. I felt like I had a sinus infection the entire time--along with a nosebleed. Sorry!!

Yes I had them and they got more frequent when I was farther along.
