Ever since having a baby, things that I used to not think twice about are major issues. For instance, tonight's endless fireworks in the city. I'm hoping that the noise from the fireworks won't wake up my little guy. Anyone else worried about noise from the fireworks?

We were but our LO always sleeps right through it. They set them off over the water basically right in front of our house so it's like bombs are going off but she sleeps through it every time so fingers crossed!

I'm worried about them, but not because I have a LO. I'm worried because we are under a burn ban and I'm terrified that some stupid people will start a wildfire with fireworks. : /

LO isn't bothered by fireworks (neighbors have been setting them off all week, grr) but my cat is terrified of the noise

@Jennimac: we are under a burning ban too, but all the local parks are still having fireworks, and I'm sure local idiots will think its a great idea to shoot off some fireworks at home too. I'm nervous about fires!

@MrsBrewer: It boggles my mind how it's legal to even sell the fireworks when the ENTIRE state is under a burn ban!!!! Craziness!
