I don't make it all that far... the other night I read 6 chapters of a Magic Treehouse and I was so proud of myself. But then I was talking to my wife, and she will sometimes read the entire chapter book in a single night! I just can't do that... reading out loud is excruciatingly boring for me.

Wow! We're reading the Magic Treehouse series too, but we read 2 chapters per night. DD asks a TON of questions along the way, so it's not just like we're reading straight through.

@Mrs. High Heels: Let's trade kids! I would love to talk about the book... or do pretty much anything besides read the book straight through. But if I use voices or miss a single word, my son asks me to, "just read it normally!"
