Is there a good option for getting from the airport to Manhattan with an infant without bringing a seat? I figure we can use Uber after we are there when needed but at least here they don't have the ability to pick up from the airport. Any suggestions?

Well, you don't have to use a car seat in NYC cabs, as crazy as that seems. If you want to use a car seat, but don't want to bring one, I believe some car service companies have cars with car seats ... You'd just have to arrange to picked up beforehand.

@Cole: you can call a local car service ahead of time, and they will bring car seats in their car!

@Cole: I believe Uber does pick up from the airport here (please note that their car seats are for 12 months + only - they are larger seats and forward-facing). Another option that has been recommended is Kid Car: http://www.kidcarny.com/
I haven't tried either, but I know people who like both of these services.

Uber picks up at the airport here and they have a new service that has cabs with car seats. Some car services also provide them. But just a regular yellow cab is not going to have them.
Once you're in the city, you'd prob be better off with public transportation rather than trying to find a car service with a car seat.
