Hi NYC bees, who are you using for newborn photography and how much are you paying, if you are willing to share?

Oh, I really need some advice on this, too! I'm in Brooklyn and I have been researching a little online, but I would still like to have some more personal input.
So far it seems like most sessions are like, $500. Am I just naive or does that seem a little high?

i think most of the good photographers (popular) are around $500. i don't have any specific newborn photographers to recommend however.... i only know wedding photographers! but i think newborn photographers know what/how to photograph newborns better!

I think $500 seems a little high, too, especially if it's just the session fee and not the digital images.
