We are going to NYC in a week! DS is 10 months old. I keep seeing horror stories online of no where to change babies, etc.
Any tips for me? We have an umbrella stroller and ergo. We got a 1 bedroom hotel so we don't have to pretend we are sleeping when DS goes down. 
I'm praying he will nurse in the ergo and nap in that or the stroller!
ETA: any fun recommendations for things to do/places to eat? I haven't been in 10 years!

We lived in NYC for the first year of DS's life. Gear-wise, you sound prepared!
Good places to change are Whole Foods, Barnes & Noble, most department stores, Baby Gap usually has changing areas, BRU and Bye Bye Baby. If it's not too cold, I would also change on a park bench.
Go to Shake Shack and eat some cheese fries for me :-).

Where are you staying? The Children's museum on the Upper West Side is supposed to be great! And since its going to be beautiful this weekend, the Union Square farmers market might be fun!

I love the Central Park zoo and I think he would appreciate it at that age.

I agree with the zoo, we took LO (10 months at the time) and he had fun! Also Brooklyn Bridge park has some great children's playgrounds, as does Central Park.

We were just at the Central Park zoo last weekend, it was hit or miss for us, because the animals weren't very active. We had lots of fun at the Tisch Children's Zoo portion, though!
It's gotten cooler, so bring warm footwear for you!
