Any thoughts on the ombré hair color style? My hair dresser tonight had it with light color at the bottom and I really liked it. I might consider it but I have never dyed my hair before.

Then decided it was too overplayed (when I go to a salon and all of the stylists have the same style...it is a tip to change my hair...stat)! -
@Rainbow Sprinkles: Thanks for the picture! I love it! I have dark brown/auburn hair so I don't want to go super light at the bottom, but I think it would grow out nicely and I wouldn't have to do it all the time.

I had mine dark brown fading to a brighter auburn color for a while. I like it. I really want to do something crazy and go with blue or pink or something at the ends.

It would be pretty with a warm carmel type color at the bottom. -

I have been contemplating black to red, but I'm not sure now that I'll have a little one. Would be too much maintenance. But I do LOVE it.

Right as it started getting super popular on pinterest. Everyone up here is really behind so not many people here had it yet and I honestly didn't know about it until the lady at the salon was cutting my hair and absolutely loved the color. She laughed when I told her it was a result of trying to dye my hair some reddish color on my own a few months back.

I'm back and forth on it. I think on some people it just looks like roots are growing out but I really love the weird color combos, like blonde into blue or something wacky.

@Mrs. Pen: I loved those photos! I have a very similar brown hair color but I think just having my tips lighter like you have them would be fun!

@cyndistar3: ya I bleached my ends and dyed them green but the green washed out in the shower so I was left with ombré!
