I came downstairs from putting LO down for a nap and our door on level 2 was WIDE open.
I was SO SCARED!!!!!
Called the police, ran up and got our shotgun and waited for them to arrive.
They did a sweep of the house and no one was here. Our door was locked, but I think it wasn't shut completely. It's a windy day so they think the wind blew it open.

I was so freaking scared.

Yikes, check all your doors and windows!!! I have heard from my MIL that it's really windy in GA last couple days.

@chopsuey119: be careful girlie, double check all your doors and windows!! if you install an alarm system, it will tell you if anything is left open.

oh that is scary!!
This one time, I went to my parents house unannounced since I was in the area. I still have a key to their house so I let myself in. No one was in sight, so we walked about the main floor and no one was around, so I figured they were all downstairs. As I start going downstairs, my dad was about to come upstairs, holding a gun! Hahha! He had heard footsteps and thought someone had broken into the house.
We now have a joke about the time my dad pointed a gun at us lol
It was kinda scary for him, but I only found it funny.
I'm glad it was nothing, but that can be scary for sure! I always keep our door locked during the day.
