So, there was a great long list of things that I was waiting to do until I found out the gender. Now... I can't remember what they were! Other than telling relatives, what would you try to get done after finding out the gender?
(Well, I am going to get Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, since his name is Alexander. We plan to call him Zane, though.)

Hmm I bought our first piece of baby clothing 
And started obsessively looking at baby boy crib bedding. Other than that, not much as of yet!

I also started doing some personalized things for her nursery. Since her name is rose I did lots of things with roses.

Congrats on your baby boy! Now that we're Team Pink I am obsessed with figuring out a nursery theme. And also shopping for some initial fun token items- like a juicy tracksuit:). Just being silly bc I'm excited;)

Congratulations on a baby boy! When we found out LO was a girl we bought some clothing, started picking our nursery themes, etc & we will do the same this time around! So exciting!

I also continued my registry (well, started at Babies R Us - I'd already started Target online), and we started narrowing down names, which took a few weeks.
I recently found a board book at Marshall's of the pig tv series "Olivia" and snatched it up

I immediately - that week - made a minky baby blanket with owls on the front. It's so cute and I was so proud of it.
I then came up with a nursery theme, registered and told my friends/family the news

@Coco Bee: Awww! I love making baby blankets! And owls are awesome! (My dad had one when he was a teenager, so he was especially fond of them.)
We already had the name Alexander Harold picked out (Harold after two of his grandfathers.) I got the Trumpette sneaker socks, a 0-3 month set of bib overalls, a super cute hooded towel set, and a cozy sleep sack. I'm really baffled by decorating the nursery, since blankets and quilted bumpers are apparently no-nos. We can't paint, either, since this is a rental.

@cyneswith: but there is still so much you can do. We are in the same boat. I DIYed his crib skirt, and working on his crib sheet now, we painted his dresser, added a colorful rug, and yellow/green paper lanterns and tissue poms above his bed. We also added a fun chevron toy box - I wanted lots of color since we couldn't paint either. We have colorful furniture - grey crib, navy/white dresser and white changing table.
Colorful curtain can add so much too! I'm working on the art for his room.
I pinned a lot of stuff on pinterest to help me decide what to do.

We're starting to clean out the nursery so that I can start painting it in the coming weeks (we have our anatomy scan in a week!) and I'll finally be able to go shop for a few items I've been eyeing

I bought a couple cute, girly outfits, decided on a nursery theme, and added girly things to the registry.
