Ezra and August are my top two votes!

I really like them all! Lennox/Nox is a new one for me and I really love it.

I think they're kinda out there

I particularly like Theodore and August! I would like Simon more, if it weren't for a certain SNL routine. Ezra sounds very Biblical to me (too much so for my personal naming taste). Lennox/nn Nox is also very nice!

aw, I love your list! Some of the long names seem a little unusual but then the nickname makes me love them (like Lennox/Nox).

One thing I would think about (but may or may not be a deal breaker for me) is first/middle flow. A lot of your names have a s/x sound at the end which is a little cumbersome with Scott. Like Dax Scott makes you stop a little between them so you don't run them together. But since it is so unusual that you use the whole name I don't know that'd keep me from using one of those if you really loved them.

I think my fav is Theodore, runner up Maddox.

Lennox is my fave, but I like pretty much all of them! They're unusual but not too crazy, which is a good place to be IMO

I think Theodore Scott sounds the best, and so presidential! I do like some of the other names, but just not paired with the name Scott. I agree that how it flows off the tongue (both full and nicknames) are important to me.

Eta: I also like Henry Scott, but not Henrik Scott.

I like Theodore, Maddox, and Simon. But that's just based on what I imagine your last name sounds like. The actual flow of first+last is important.

When choosing a name it helped us to practice each favorite for a day, noting how it sounds in real life.

Gus (I'd pick Augustus) and Simon. I feel like middle names don't come up much in day-to-day life, so I would pick whatever first name and whatever middle name you like and not worry about how trippingly they roll off the tongue together. Full names are rarely said aloud anyhow. (And the people who do say them out loud usually practice making them sound good, like graduation name readers!)

I love August/Augustus/Gustav so much that if we get a dog sometime soon we want to name him that :). We know it's a better human name than dog name, but we really want to use it!
