We went furniture shopping yesterday, and this is the only one that we could both sort of agree on. DH is all about comfort, but I am looking for something that I also like the style of. The fabric color isn't set in stone. They have a ton other options for fabric.

Comfort is number one. I hate couches that look good but you can't relax on.

I prefer #2 but I would be in the same situation with my DH. #1 is a good compromise if you both agree! (I lost that battle...we have a recliner in the living room and no, it's not one of the pretty sleek ones 
)

@Mrs. Taco: Haha! I have a feeling I am going to lose this battle too. DH really wants a recliner, but I think we have agreed that we don't have the space for one. We will probably get one when move to a bigger place.
If DH had it completely his way we would end up with this, which is fine, but not my style at all.

Definitely n.2! Comfort is relative because my back hurts less on less plush personally. However I don't think you should settle if you can help it! I would keep looking until you agree (if you can/ have the opportunity). A couch is so central.

Love the look of number 2--but if comfort is really an issue, go with #1!

I like both the look and comfort of #1. Think of what you would be curled up on if you were sick or watching a movie on a date night in, comfort would win every time.

Agree that comfort comes first! You can always dress up a couch with pillows and throws!

I agree that comfort comes first but number two is much better aesthetically IMO. So...I dunno, I would probably keep looking. (But it took DH and I like 20 furniture store visits to finally pick a couch....)

We went to another place today and found one that we both love. It is being delivered in 8 weeks. So excited!
The fabrics that we chose are draped over the side without the chaise. They main fabric is the grey one, and the print is for the throw pillows.

@Mrs.Panda: The brand is Rowe, and we bought it at Belfort Furniture in Virginia. They have a lot of nice stuff.

I am thinking my throw pillow fabric might not have been the best choice because of the light background. I am afraid they will get dirty quickly. Oh well, they are just throw pillows and can be cleaned or replaced in the future. The fabric was too pretty to pass up.
I made sure to get a durable and easy to clean fabric for the actual couch.
