I think that is neat (and a great price!), but I like it as a closet organizer more. I guess me personally, I like having clothes put away/unseen, mostly because I am a messy clothes hanger-upper, haha. Would you have room for a free-standing wardrobe, maybe? Don't do it - I bought one of these systems once and it never stayed together. Plus my stuff was out in the open and even when I organized it looked messy.

I'm a big fan of hiding messes when people come over, so if it's going to be tucked away, go for it, but out in the open I'd never keep it tidy enough

@Foodnerd81: I bought it in a box, so I never saw it assembled first. It wasn't sturdy at all and even though I put it together perfectly if I hung something wrong or the weight wasn't perfectly balanced it would collapse. I'm also a messy clothes storer so it was just a bad idea all around. I remember how happy I was the day I decided to ditch it! Wood dressers and wardrobes are a lot more expensive, but IMO it's such a better deal.

I said on the fence. I'd like it if it was in a closet, but outside it would look so messy (unless you will keep it clean).

Do you plan to keep it in a closet?

@Modern Daisy: I meant to direct that questions to @Mrsbells: -- as in, Mrsbells-- did you shake it to see if it was sturdy, otherwise you might have the same problem as Modern Daisy. I just worded it really confusingly!

It would drive me crazy to have my stuff out for everyone to see. So I voted dresser.

I would get a dresser. I'd worry about the organizer collapsing.
