They probably helped to keep the gut bacteria in balance while taking the Alinia.

@BananaPancakes: thank you for the update! Glad LO is doing better. Hopefully the antibiotics will do the rest and he'll be back to 100% healthy soon. I was also gonna suggest probiotics to go with the antibiotics too.
