I'm using the Clear Blue ovulation kit and got solid smiley faces three days in a row. I thought it was suppose to only give you two smiley faces for your peak 2 days? Has this happen to anyone else?

It will keep flashing until your peak is detested- you just have to keep testing until you get the solid smiley
I think I had a week of flashing smileys before my peak once

@Anya: it's the regular clear blue so no flashing smileys, it's suppose to just give you 2 solid smileys and go back to blank circle. So I was surprised when I got my third solid smiley today!

@dolphin: yep, I've had between 6 days of flashing Smileys to jumping right from flashing to solid smiley... Just keep testing, hang in there, & BD EOD at least so you don't miss O day.

@dolphin: oh, just read your response above... In that case, it is possible to have a longer surge... My advice is the same.

@dolphin: I have had that, but I have a long surge. My guess is it will be negative tomorrow.

@dolphin: Other than being annoying, I don't think there's anything wrong or bad if you get more smileys...I have a short surge, so I only got one smiley in the morning and then later, it was gone. You might have a longer surge, and I think all are totally normal:)

@GoGoSnoGirl: @Anya: @PrincessBaby: thanks ladies!! So do you typically ovulate the last day of the solid smiley or the day it goes back to blank? I guess there is no way to know for sure unless you temp huh?

@dolphin: yeah, no way to know for sure. When I was temping to conceive DD, I would ovulate the day after 2 days of + opks. I would sort of think in your case it would be the 3rd positive day, but it's possible it could be a day or two after that, so I'd keep BD'ing.
The surge usually lasts 24-48 hours. If you caught it at the beginning and end of 48 hours, you could get a positive for 3 days straight. For example, if LH was starting to go up at 2pm Thurs and then was on it's way back down Sat at 2pm, you could get a + 3 days in a row. That would be my guess.
