We went to space party a few months ago and got glow in the dark planet/star stickers and these squeeze rockets, which as a parent I thought I’d hate coming home with projectiles from a party, but my girls LOVED THEM.

We did this theme last year and gave out a book about outer space and stress/squishy planet earth balls.

And the stars.I was going to say a book but not sure what budget is and how many kids. My sons bday only has 6 kids so I didn’t mind shelling out a bit more for a book. $4.99.

@MrsRoo: I’m usually not a fan of anything projectile either in fear of someone getting their eye poked out but I showed these to DH and he’s like wow so cool! Lol. I might just have to order them!

@dolphin: they really don’t, and they were pretty soft. You’d have to squeeze really hard and be right in someone’s face for them to even really feel that you hit someone with them. My girls shot them at each other for a solid week and no one cried.
