I was curious what this group thought about paint fumes in the 3rd trimester or the first week of a baby’s life.

My co-op just informed us that they are planning to paint the hallways in 2 weeks when I will be 37 weeks pregnant and the job is expected to take 10-12 days. My doctor has implied she does not want me to go over 40 weeks so likely this will be the environment I will either be breathing in the last week of my pregnancy or the baby will be moving through when we bring her home.

I have already requested that we only use no-VOC paint (with a preference for Benjamin Moore Natura). The building is only 8 units, so I think I could get them to delay this by a few weeks if necessary but I don't want to be that difficult if it's not a huge deal since it's not IN our apartment and minimal sanding (which would stress me out about lead dust) is expected. Thoughts?
