Where do you eat out if you eat clean/paleo? What do you get?
It seems impossible.

I'm not paleo but what about Melting Pot? You could just go for the salad and meat/veggies part maybe?

I just don't eat out when I'm on a clean/Paleo cycle. Even if I just order plain chicken and a salad, it seems like there's junk in the dressings, marinades, etc.

As someone who eats pretty healthy and follows many paleo principles (most, not all), I also follow the 80/20 or 90/10 rule. Meaning that 80-90% of what we eat should be healthy, or "paleo", and the other 10% you can splurge a little. So if you typically eat three meals a day, and there are seven days in a week - it's okay to have 1-2 meals a week that aren't perfectly healthy, or have 1-2 "bad" desserts. If I make dessert at home, I try to make it a healthy dessert so I don't have to count it as my 10%. This doesn't mean that every week I let myself eat badly for 1-2 meals, but instead that I don't feel bad if I am not squeaky clean eating.
So this applies to date night/eating out - if I eat out a couple times a month, it's okay to get something not perfectly paleo. But these are my eating rules and I understand how frustrating it is finding healthy places to eat! I generally try to stick to salads or just meat and veggies.
I found this website that highlights healthy restaurants in my area so I try to stick to those. Maybe search your city and see if they have anything similar?

Agree with @Mrs. Pen: about 80/20.
I also find that entree salads are the way to go...you can always ask for evoo and lemon juice if you don't like the dressing it comes with.
I also find that's much easier to eat paleo at higher end restaurants. Our favourite restaurant in town regularly has entrees that contain high quality protein and veg without any grains...and they're also more willing to make substitutions.
For fast food, you can ask for a lettuce-wrapped burger or plain grilled chicken breast on a salad.

I don't eat paleo (though I do try to watch my carb/grain intake) but I eat a clean diet and have no trouble eating out at local places. Chain places are pretty much a recipe for disaster since so much of what they serve comes frozen/premade and can't really be altered as much as a place that makes your entree to order/on premises.
Steaks, salads, fish and seafood (one of my favorite places serves a whole fish, so awesome!), roasted chicken or duck, etc. Higher end places with smaller portions are great too, especially for a date night because if you cheat, the cheater is in smaller portions! haha

Sashimi is my favorite splurge. Steakhouses and fish places are good. For a less fancy date diner-type places (especially those that serve breakfast) tend to have a lot of choices: omelette, steak, pork chop, etc.
Our most frequent date spot is Chipotle for a bowl, no rice or beams, lots of fajita veggies, extra meat, salsa, (sometimes cheese), and guac. There's plenty of non-ideal oil included but it doesn't make up the majority of our diet so I'm not concerned.

I have been eating Paleo since January & shockingly, I haven't even been out to eat since then! Ha! But I have eaten at other people's houses & like @Mrs. Pen: I don't stress if I don't eat Paleo 100% of the time. I hold myself to the 80/20 standard but I usually do a little better than that since I don't keep junk in the house & we are on a budget so I do what I can to avoid buying extra food while LO & I are out (DH is a homebody, he doesn't to go anywhere, hence the reason we haven't been out.)

I don't believe in paleo but I eat what I consider to be the healthiest (anti-inflammatory diet- basically pesco-vegetarian). I go local- like a Cesar salad with grilled salmon from a local restaurant. Lots of local fresh options here so I would go with that if you can... local meat and veggies or seafood. I usually just get sushi out!

Ditto on steakhouse. I just ask for a 6-8oz sirloin with double the veggies with no potato. DH will order his meal with a sweet potato and I'll have half sometimes. We also eat the side salad (you can ask for oil and vinegar or just have their vinaigrette) with no croutons and ask them to not bring bread. Drink iced tea with lemon.
If you're not in the mood for steak, they still have chicken or chops or fish on the menu. Sometimes we'll split a plate of hot wings.
