I just remembered today was "bring your favorite stuffed animal" to daycare day. 
Mom FAIL. I hope she's not the only one who didn't bring something in.

I was teaching my kid to sit on a blanket and she lunged when a cat when he walked by and bonked her head on the hardwood floor. And then i laughed at her hysterics while I consoled her.
Lesson learned: use a bigger quilt

This morning.
Somehow i missed that the ruffle was tucked in on one leg of the diaper. Cue explosive shart....that came out the leg hole, down my baby's leg onto BOTH feet, all over the blanket, her outfit, and the rock n play. It's all in the wash now, and she had a bath...nice way to start the day!

They're having a grandparents tea and snack at daycare today and I forgot to tell MIL. I don't think she could make it now.

We forgot DD's first show and tell at preschool so she had to use an item from the classroom.

Today was DD's library field trip with her kindergarten class. I did good to remember to leave my library card for her. Unfortunately the library wouldn't let her use my card and requires the child to have their own card. She wasn't allowed to check out any books. I was only thankful that she wasn't the only kid who couldn't check out any books. She had a classmate whose mom just plain forgot. I think if she had been the only one she would have cried.
