We do highs and lows with the kids every day, and it's a great and fun way to talk about our day. It sure works better than the, "So, what did you do today?" that I tried for years and years!
Anyway thought it might be fun to do a parenting version of highs and lows! I'll start:
HIGH: I took a few hours off of work in the morning to spend with the kids, which they loved. Then in the evening, I broke out Zingo and we all played it for about half an hour. Each of the kids won at least once, which made it fun for everyone.
LOW: I went to my bed late last night and one of our dogs was stretched out on the bed, sleeping next to my son. It was so cute but I barely had a sliver of bed and woke up with a crick in my back.
