I have! I like it. The texture is a little bit different than wheat pasta, but the taste is good.

@Mamaof2: Probably not if it has sauce or butter or cheese on it. My DH ate it and thought it was great and he's picky about GF stuff and will tell me if he thinks it tastes like crap.

Sooooo my ex was a totally weird, diet trending freak. We tried every type of dietary trend/exclusion you could possibly think of.
One of them? Corn products. Seriously. I have never eaten so much corn in my life. It's hilariously embarrassing.
SO, I have tried lots of different types of pasta and (next to wheat) corn is my FAVOURITE. I actually really love it. Haven't eaten it in a while but I remember it being very tasty.
If anything, I would give it a go, worst case no one likes it and you go back to buying whatever you were buying before.

@Mamaof2: Not sure if you have corn pasta already, which is why you're asking about it, or if you are looking for a decent GF pasta, BUT I'd avoid rice pasta, and I think quinoa pasta is the most similar in taste and texture to wheat pasta!

@.twist.: thanks! I am trying to reduce gluten and saw this today so I grabbed it - curious to see how it tastes for myself!
@IRunForFun: good to know about rice pasta -thanks!

We've tried this for the same reason and really did not like it. TJ's brown rice pasta is the current favorite in our house. Just a head's up that you want to watch the pasta carefully because it goes from cooked to mushy in no time (both the corn and the rice).

@Mamaof2: I have celiac, but before going gluten free pasta was my all time favorite food, so I've tried ALL the different kinds of pasta out there. Corn pasta is good, but be careful about overcooking it, it gets super mushy really fast. I've also found that also doesn't keep well, it gets pretty hard and is difficult to soften up again when reheated. I think the texture is pretty close to "normal" pasta, and I like the taste. I like the texture of pasta with quinoa, but the taste is really different to me - the quinoa taste is very strong. Rice pasta varies, but the texture and taste can be really different than what you're used to. If you're avoiding gluten, my absolute FAVORITE gf pasta is the Barilla gluten free. It is a corn/rice mix that tastes, looks and cooks nearly exactly like wheat based pastas, it reheats really well and even holds up in soups. By far the best I've found.
Good luck!

@Rocker2014: I loved the corn/rice pasta mix, but I have only ever been able to find it ONCE, at one grocery store me, and never since then! Sad.

@Rocker2014: thanks for the feedback - will check it out as well!
@IRunForFun: its on amazon

I second @Rocker2014's recommendation. Corn past is great, especially in summery dishes (try fava beans, goat cheese, and zucchini tossed in a butter-parmesan sauce), but it really needs to be al dente or it quickly verges into something more like clumpy polenta.

Never had it, but zoodles are a delicious GF option also! My LO gobbles them up as if they were regular noodles and he doesn't normally eat zucchini.

@Boogs: Do you have a spiralizer for the zucchini noodles? I really want to try them, but just not sure how to go about making them into "noodles."

DH (non Celiac) LOVES corn pasta - he says it tastes most like the real stuff. since he eats the real stuff too, i think he's a good judge but our favorite is the quinoa/corn blend - we eat that stuff almost exclusively now. though the corn only brand is our back up.

@Boogs: oh I just bought a spiralizer but there is no way I could convince myself it was pasta! haha
I do eat bowls of zucchini noodles (with just some salt) and got DD to eat sweet potato noodles

Its OK, but I try to stay away from 100% corn pasta because of GMO issues. I prefer rice, quinoa, or just blends of a few different things. Most of them I've found to be quite good!

@Mamaof2: you got a spiralizer!! I want one badly but I have to reduce my kitchen appliances first... I'm glad you are liking it... So no chance of fooling there kids, huh?
My fave GF pasta is tinkyada rice pasta but I've never tried the corn pasta...

I LOVE corn and quinoa noodles. The brand I buy is a mixture of corn and quinoa and I think it tastes better than regular pasta!

I think corn pasta is great and holds up better than brown rice pasta in reheating. Just toss any leftovers in a little olive oil. Trader Joe's sells corn pasta super cheap! Just know that the cooking water turns really yellow!

@Mamaof2: corn pasta is pretty popular the use it love garden for the GF pasta, just make sure not to over cook. the Tinkyada brand is good GF pasta (brown rice).

@MrsH: I second the brown rice pasta!! It is a huge staple here! Personally I am not a fan of the corn/corn blend pastas.

We love brown rice pasta from Trader Joes. Previously I only made it for lo, but dh tried it and loved it (really rare thing) so we completely switched.

@Mamaof2: Is the spiralizer easy to use? What brand do you recommend? Those veggie noodles look very tasty.

My favorite alternative I have found was a corn/quinoa pasta mixture!
