Anyone else ever have trouble getting enough urine for your doctor? I'm currently here for follow up for a UTI and I need to get enough to go off to the lab and I just can't!!! They are pumping full of water!

I never have trouble peeing (except for when I had a kidney stone, then they gave me a catheter...eeeeek!). I hope everything worked out for you!

Yes - but even if I just get a few splashes in the cup, they've said that is more than enough for their tests.

Yes, I have this issue sometimes. The bathroom where you provide samples doesn't seem to lock and that makes me uncomfortable and I have a hard time peeing.
In the waiting room they have a big decorative fountain, I always thought that was kind of cruel for an OB office, especially if you have a full bladder for an ultrasound!

Aw I'm sorry you're having a hard time. I got that once too, though I think I was just too embarrassed.
I thought for sure this topic was going to be about male performance issues..... lol

@alayaya: I thought it was about male performance issues too!! haha!
I always hold my pee when I go to the doctor's office, just in case! Then again, I have a bladder the size of a pea so I could probably chug a cup of water and be ready to pee in 5 minutes. Sigh.

It took me about 20 minutes to get enough for them to send to the lab. Luckily the nurse practitioner is pregnant too and she was just laughing with me. They didn't seem annoyed : )
