Signed! My hubs and I actually have a deal where whoever drops LO off at day care has to take a pic and send it to other parents as a sort of check and balance. If I don't hear from him by about 15 minutes after drop off, I call to check in.

Bumping this thread - just signed the petition, somehow I missed it until now. There are less than 10,000 signatures, and 100,000 are needed by August 13 - I really, really hope this gains momentum.

Signed it! I really don't know how they haven't implemented anything yet. It seems like it would be easy. Like, a motion sensor that would make your key fob sound an alarm. (Or something like that.)

I wonder if this, if implemented, would be like an anti-theft system... How often do you hear a car alarm going off and ignore it or think "somebody accidentally set off their alarm"?
I think it's a great idea in theory but if it goes off all the time, I wonder if people would just become immune to it?
Something needs to happen though.

Great idea. SO SO SO sad. I wish daycare called if my little one didn't show up on time. That way I would call my husband and say WTF is our child. Thats one small thing that could help.
