Has anyone heard of this? I have had 3 faint positive pink dye pregnancy tests using FMU since Thursday. However, I keep getting negative digital tests. The pink lines look a little darker each day, but nothing substantial.
Has anyone ever heard of this, and should I be worried? Am I actually pregnant? I'm thinking of making an appointment with the doctor this week for a blood test.

Maybe the pink dye test is more sensitive than the digital test? That's the only explanation I can think of. It seems like it would be impossible to get three evaporation lines.

How awful to keep getting different answers! . I also think some tests are more sensitive then others. Couldn't hurt to call the doctor ... but most doctors make you wait a few weeks before they see you.

=( unfortunately, didn't happen with me. i agree with @leialou - maybe your dye test is more sensitive so it's picking up low hcg levels that your digital can't.
do you know how many days before you get your period? digital tests typically need max 4-5 days before your missed period.
i'd go ahead and schedule a blood test! GOOD LUCK!

From reading other posts, it seems like the pink dye tests are more sensitive then the digitals. I'd try again tomorrow. Hoping for a BFP for you!

What pink dye test was it? I see it highly unlikely that you would get three evap lines or false positives. Good luck! I hope you get your confirmation with the digital soon.

Like everyone else said the dye test is likely more sensitive. I'd try going to your doctor's or a walk-in clinic for a blood test to check for sure.

AF was due 4 days ago so its not even like I'm trying to test.early! I'm testing again with FMU and if its still inconclusive, I'll call my doc.

@MrsLMA: Blood test can actually be not-that-sensitive depending on how much hCG your body makes. If you don't get a BFP tomorrow, try again the next day (or 2 days later).
My 2nd BFP/pregnancy, I got a very very faint line 9 DPO, but didn't really know for sure until 12DPO that it was a real line.
