OK, I whined about annoying comments, so I thought I would be positive and ask what kind things people have said to you during your pregnancy.
Today I saw a friend I hadn't seen in over a month and she said, "you're so skinny! You look great!" She was serious, too. I love her.

I got some "you look great for being X weeks pregnant!" but I think they were lying. HAHA. I did not look great. Maybe I did til week 20. After week 20 it was all downhill..

I get a lot of "oh wow, you're actually glowing!" I don't correct them that it's a mixture of sweat and good makeup

When I went with my husband so he could pick out new glasses, the person helping us asked when I was due. When I said July, she said "No way!" and seemed sincere. She then went on to tell me how great I was carrying it and that I didn't look too big or too small. I kind of wanted to hug her.

I've heard a lot of, "you're all baby belly" which makes me feel so much better since I feel like I'm all face, hips, arms, thighs, butt, lol.
DH's step mom called me skinny which was really nice to hear too!

When people told me I looked good it bothered me. I knew they were lying

I went home a few weeks ago (I was 19 weeks) and my 2 great aunts paraded me around all weekend saying I was the prettiest one in the whole family, that I looked great, etc. I told them I was going to put them in my pocket and pull them out when I needed a confidence boost!
Granted, they are family, but it made me feel so good :o)

The most uplifting comment I received was from a total stranger. It was a gas station clerk and she smiled sooooo big when she saw that I was pregnant and she told me that I looked beautiful. Made my week!
