Thanks everyone. As you all know I think this was my last try as Iβm coming up on 2 years and this was my 10th loss during this time. I donβt think a rainbow is in the cards for me unfortunately. I am hoping Iβll be able to move forward with some time. Iβll probably mute the boards for awhile but I really appreciate all your support over this time, itβs so nice to hang with ladies that get it! Good luck to all of you

@yellowbeach: totally cheated.... and nothing yet... I feel off and Iβm very aware of any possible symptoms but it can very well be a psychosis of me wanting it to be as oppose to it actually being signs of early pregnancy.... meanwhile negative as of yet

How was everyone's weekend?
I had some time to do nothing on Saturday and an elderly relative's birthday complete with stories of how they were bombed when she was young and how many houses burned down as a result of that on Sunday. Always a cheery subject at a party.
nectarine / 2648 posts
@paranundrum: I spent the whole weekend trapped in my house with DD while I studied for my board exams @Kaohinani, @SamsMOM, @Paranundrum can you believe it's almost been a year and time to try again??? Take my test a week from Wed, so that's basically all I will be doing from now until then. I do have a 2nd us this Thursday though, so that's something to look forward to in the interim.

We are go for transfer on Wednesday! I'll probably, maybe test on the following Wednesday 11/13 (7dp5dt).

@yellowbeach: holy crap, how has it been that long already!? All the things crossed for you!
@paranundrum: that's always a wonderful topic for a party. We had daylight savings time switch this weekend and I actually miraculously got the extra sleep for the most part. I had my anatomy scan on Halloween. They took forever and a day on her heart and even called in another tech, and I was starting to panic. Turns out it was just a combination of new tech, a squirmy baby, and might have been drinking a caramel macchiato in the waiting room. Thankfully she just has an EIF on her heart that isn't anything to worry about, and everything else looks great.

@Marfi: yay! Very exciting!
@yellowbeach: I canβt believe itβs time for that again!
@Sams Mom: glad everything looks good!

@yellowbeach: Has it really been a year?! I remember it, that was such a crappy month for you. Look at you now! I hope the exams work out just as TTC did!
@Marfi: Great news! I'll add you to the board shortly. Everything crossed for you!
@Sams Mom: Hi baby! She looks perfect! (Love the name options too! I might or might not have been lurking on the due date boards a bit...)
We had daylight savings a week earlier, the extra hour of sleep is long forgotten and the mornings are getting dark again. I wish they would stop it and luckily that's the plan in the EU, but the politicians have to decide on what time will we stay. Every country can choose, but they're trying to coordinate it with our closest neighbours.
I actually had a dream one night about going to the 12 week scan, it was a bit of a fiasco as it was done by a relative of mine, a teacher, no medical background at all. It all was going on in a resting area for doctors complete with a kitchen... She didn't find the right program on the computer and I didn't have a place to lay down. A doctor on her lunch break guided her through it between mouthfuls of salad. Everything worked out in the end and I even saw the baby, but it was just all around weird.

clementine / 811 posts
@yellowbeach: No reason to be hopeful, the odds are too low. With that said, I'll be sure to drive myself crazy with the speculations during the last few days before AF as I do every cycle.
Our best bet is the IVF we have scheduled in January.

@chypmunk: I'm so sorry! I'm in the exact same boat as you. AF just arrived and I'm completely numb. I really thought this month would be it too, for some reason.
My one silver lining is that this cycle was 29 days instead of 26 like that last couple, which gives me hope for the future.
clementine / 950 posts
So I wasnβt even sure I should post this but I am having a very strange course. As you know my beta on Oct 28 was 50, and then dropped to 47 on Oct 30. I stopped testing at that point and stopped all meds. In my experience with chemicals I would have expected some spotting by now but nothing has happened.
Very strangely when I did a pregnancy test to see where things are at it is SUPER dark. I then did a weeks calculator that I had and on Nov 5th (yesterday) it says β2-3 weeksβ when on Oct 30 it said β1-2 weeks.β I did an FRER today and it is a dye stealer!
I donβt know what to think! Everything I read says maybe ectopic??? But I have no risk factors for ectopic and I just had an HSG that probably puts me at a lower risk than usual.
I am so baffled. I know 99.9999999% this is still non-viable but just thought I would put this out there to see if anyone has ever had an experience like this?!
I am repeating my beta tomorrow and I guess Iβll see what happens. My super secret and very unlikely hope is that maybe it was a miscarriage of a twin and one is hanging in there... but even then from what I have seen it is more common to have a bad rise over 48 hours instead of a drop π€
WTF right?!
clementine / 950 posts
What would you estimate this beta at?! I just donβt know what to think.
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@fuzzypeaches: wow that is CRAZY and I'm so sorry it just puts you in limbo again. My only thought was twins also but I don't know much about it but dang that's a pretty dark test! I looked at some old pics I had and if you're 21dpo I had a 20dpo test that looked pretty similar (for a successful pregnancy). Crossing EVERYTHING that this is some crazy miracle
eta I think once you get past early days, tests are really bad predictors of beta numbers, but the median beta for 20dpo when I had a test like that is 1286 so I'd think it's over 1000.
