Well, I had planned to test 2/22 when AF was due, but then my fertility app said I could test tomorrow...so obviously I tested immediately...and I am speechless...so grateful and praying so hard for a sticky baby

@MoonMoon: This is my second cycle after retrieval. I don't track my cycles right now, so I'm not sure, but I had ewcm this weekend and count 12-14 days after that just to get a time frame. According to FF, AF should start this Sunday, but I think ov was a week late, so AF will be too.
First AF after starting IVF started eleven days post retrieval, but I had six days of spotting before it finally came.
I guess my cycles have been a little wonky, but nothing too out of the ordinary.

@Shybee23: Amazing news, congratulations!
This board is on fire! I'll be alone in no time if this goes on.

Not feeling super optimistic, ladies. After a couple of days of progressively darker tests, this morning saw a faint line and some pink when I wiped.

@MoonMoon: I'm so sorry, fingers crossed it's nothing. I am all too familiar with this feeling. Thinking of you.

@MoonMoon: big hugs I too hope it’s nothing - just test variation - but I’ve been on both sides of that so I know how awful it feels to see that

@MoonMoon: Ugh. I was lurking and so excited for you. I hope it's just a fluke, but I totally understand how you're feeling.

@Mrs.Panda: @bhbee: @Chuckles: thanks so much ladies. There's nobody else I can share this with right now! Especially being on this trip right now. Today I'm at an amusement park with DS all day...

@MoonMoon: To me, it looks like you have a serious case of dye run. Like you used too much urine, because even the test line has run. I would take a digital.

@DamnedSpot: @Shybee23: @chypmunk: @paranundrum: thank you guys for checking on me.
I followed what @crazydoglady: said. How did I never know about dye run? Anyway I tested again last night and this morning and things are looking good again? I'm relieved and I'm glad I read your post because I was ready to say "eff it" and ride roller coasters yesterday but this made me be cautious. Can't wait to get home and get to the Dr and see what's going on.

@MoonMoon: It definitely looks a lot darker! Have you tried a FRER?
pomegranate / 3393 posts
@crazydoglady: I know I should, but I don't want to while I'm staying at my parents' house... I figure it can wait until I get home Sunday... Though I'm very impatient!
@bhbee: @chypmunk: thank you ladies

@MoonMoon: so happy to see this! Looks promising. Will you test again this morning?

I’m in the same boat today, had bleeding/spotting off and on since yesterday. Took a test this morning and it was a strong positive so who knows. Doctor said to just call back if bleeding or cramping gets worse. Blerghhh.
pomegranate / 3393 posts
@Shybee23: omg I'm hoping it's nothing, but you are right that this period of uncertainty is the worst! Do you have any cramping etc? So many people on this board have had spotting/bleeding and totally healthy pregnancies, their stories are very comforting. I think your strong test is a really good sign.
Sending you my best vibes!

@MoonMoon: @Shybee23: So strange, I had some spotting today, too. Made me very nervous, but I can't get an ultrasound done until at least 6 weeks. Still a strong positive test. Keep us updated on your symptoms.
coffee bean / 45 posts
@moonmoon I do have cramping, which worries me, but the bleeding hasn’t gotten worse like it did when I miscarried so trying to be positive. But it’s hard, as I’m sure you know!
@mrs.panda sorry to hear that - so stressful. Fingers crossed for you. I also won’t see my doctor for a while (8 weeks) so its going to be a loooong wait.

@MoonMoon: @Mrs.Panda: @Shybee23: I'm so sorry this is where the three of you ladies are right now, the uncertainty of it all can be so hard, but like @MoonMoon said, these forums are full of happy endings after some spotting!
Hoping for a peaceful weekend for everyone

@Mrs.Panda: oh no, I'm sorry to hear that! It must be stressful but your strong positive pregnancy test is a wonderful counterweight. I'm sending you sticky vibes and hope this passes soon.
@Shybee23: I'm glad to hear that your current spotting isn't similar to when you had your miscarriage. It must be comforting to be able to contrast the two. I'm sending you sticky vibes too!
I got another positive test this morning but I'm still waiting for the one where the test line is darker than the control and in the meantime trying to stay calm. I have no pregnancy symptoms yet, except big boobs. Like, I wish I'd packed different bras for this trip...

@MoonMoon: @Mrs.Panda: @Shybee23: I agree with @DamnedSpot - I hate that you ladies are in POAS limbo. This is one of those cases where I really wish we still had those semi-quantitative Clear Blue tests that would say 1-2 weeks, then 2-4 weeks when pregnant so at least you could get a sense of the trajectory of things. Betas an option?
pomegranate / 3393 posts
@yellowbeach: I'm going to call the Dr when I get back home and see if there's any testing that can be done. I don't know if I qualify for betas because I've not had a miscarriage before, but when DH was diagnosed with varicocele, his urologist said it contributes to miscarriages so I feel like I have this increased chance of miscarrying hanging over my head.
This whole thing has caught me so off guard! What should I do about our appointment at the infertility practice on 3/3??

How's it going everybody? I'm about to head to the airport, so I hope to check in "on the other side" and see updates from everyone! I know there's been a lot of movement on this board in the past week, so just checking in and sending everyone my best wishes
coffee bean / 45 posts
Was just coming here to do the same! Did you decide what you’re going to do about your appointment? Safe travels!
@yellowbeach I don’t know much about betas. I’m 18ish dpo, would betas tell the doctor anything at this point? If so I’ll definitely call and ask - anything for peace of mind! I finally picked up a digital test this weekend and got a positive so fingers crossed...
pomegranate / 3393 posts
@Shybee23: I literally don't know! I guess I didn't expect to still be pregnant as the appointment is getting closer. I guess I'll call tomorrow and see what they say. I'll call my OB tomorrow too.
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@MoonMoon: I’d definitely push for betas, it’s not too late. They will tell you how things are progressing which is important info before your appt. Also with spotting I think they will usually do them. I’d keep your appt until you get two betas and then you can call the fertility clinic with that info.
Everything crossed this is your sticky baby and you don’t need to see them though!!

Ugh, I'm struggling, ladies. I'm pretty sure I O'd on Saturday, our timing was good for bd'ing (O-1, O-2) and then this morning I got some blood work back from my PCP suggesting Lupus. I'm trying not to freak out. I've had some symptoms for 3-4 weeks, thought it was a virus I couldn't kick, or maybe Lyme (I was treated for that ten years ago). Rheumatologist can't see me until end of April. I'm so worried, what if I am pregnant, and now this? What if I'm not pregnant, but I obviously want to be, and now this? Feeling pretty low right now. Only DH knows we're TTC, so I'm glad I have this space to share.
pear / 1955 posts
@DamnedSpot: I'm so sorry... as if TTC isn't stressful enough by itself. Is there another rheumatologist you can possibly get into earlier, just to get the ball rolling and additional testing underway? My husband has an auto-immune disease that's similar to lupus, and his rheumatologist is fantastic but takes monnnnthhs to see. Deep breaths, and one day at a time. Please know we're here for you whenever you want to vent.
