@MoonMoon: Wonderful news! Let me know when I can add your BFP to the board.
@Mrs.Panda: I'm sorry, that stinks. I hope you can find a place to go for an US if you need it to keep you sane until the 26th.

AF is here. Ugh.
The good news is that my doctor is having me do an ultrasound when I get a positive OPK, both to confirm follicular growth/ovulation and to confirm that there are no cysts impeding the process. After that, we'll start Clomid on the following cycle. So I guess we have a plan going forward, but I really wish it would have just happened without needing a plan.

@raspberries: bleh. Sorry about this, but I think you’re right, you have a good plan in place, and more info can help figure it all out. I hope you find some comfort in that {hugs}

Hi ladies. It’s been two weeks since I last posted and I wanted to update everyone. It’s been a roller roasted of emotions for sure. Since my very light barely visible BFP on Valentine’s Day, I have spotted every single day. Some days more than others. I have been to urgent care twice, once at 5 weeks and once today, at 6 weeks and 5 days.
The good news is BABY IS OKAY. Preparing myself for a miscarriage every day was exhausting and saddening but today I’m taking a deep breath and I’m happy. I likely have something called Subchorionic Hematoma ans I’m done stressing with the bleeding.
I’m attaching my ultrasound today. I’m now taking a deep breath, staying positive and signing on as cheerleader. Love to all

@raspberries: I'm sorry! That seemed very quick after ovulation! Short luteal phase is one of my issues too. I hope you get some answers and a plan, like you said, to move forward.

@LiliBillie: that picture is so exciting! I'm so glad you're all in the clear and little bean is ok. I'm so sorry about the SCH and bleeding and stress and worry. I'm glad that's behind you.
What's your EDD?

Oh my goodness. I got a faint positive this morning. And I am so torn/stressed/emotional. I saw a rheumatologist Tuesday (PCP was worried about lupus, rheumatologist thinks it is something else), she's done a ton of blood work, results are trickling in... I told DH about the positive, but I warned him that there seems to be so much that could go wrong right now. I think I'll make a separate post to ask some questions about what I should do now.

So I wanted to share - hopefully everyone is amused as that’s my intent. My DH was watching Roseanne this afternoon (it’s on Amazon Prime right now) and as I came in from work it was an episode where Roseanne and Dan are trying to get pregnant. And she had her ovulation schedule on the fridge, and Dan was complaining how sex used to be fun and how he had to start eating more protein. It reminded me of my experience and thought it might be funny to you. Wishing everyone luck in their cycles.

@raspberries: @yellowbeach: @MoonMoon: thanks ladies. I used another FRER this morning, I don’t really see any difference from two days ago I’m scheduled to see MFM on the 23rd, that’s the earliest anybody would schedule me. Ugh, the waiting game!

I had my appointment and we are go for a transfer on the 19th. The plan is to transfer one, that'll leave us one more in the freezer.
I don't know how to feel, I guess I'm hopeful, but knowing our luck we won't succeed the first time anyway. I hope I can get a bit more excited, right now I don't feel it at all.

@yellowbeach: sorry for the delay in posting, I've been so busy lately it's actually keeping my mind off things. I don't think I'll be POAS or anything until my appointment date. I haven't had any cramping or any more spotting, so I'm going to hold out hope this is a good pregnancy.

@DamnedSpot: thinking of you! Have you heard anything or done any more testing?

@paranundrum: the 19th sounds lucky to me! Sending you all my good vibes!
(but I hear you on the difficulty of getting excited. Even when good things happen, I'm like, ok what's the catch?)

@paranundrum: Good luck to you! Will be sending good wishes your way on the 19th! Thanks for all your work on the board.
Hi again, all. Hope the new year is treating you well so far.
Next month marks two years of this; 2 miscarriages, 1 or 2 chemicals. New specialist has me on different infertility drugs and hormones this month. Trying to go into this with a new attitude (and doing a lot of research to find an new OB). POAS date: April 4.
@moonmoon: High hopes for you!
@mspanda: Wishing you a good pregnancy.
@yellowbeach: Hope you're well.

@breakouttheicecream: thank you for your wishes.
I am so sorry about your 2 year anniversary of ttc. It's so exhausting, and often we're not given answers. I hope the new med regimen works better for you, and good luck with finding an awesome OB as well. April 4

@Mrs.Panda: @paranundrum: thanks for thinking of me, I had hcg tested yesterday, it came back at 50. That seems really low, I’m pretty sure I was 17dpo. Maybe O was a day later, but still not a great number... I’ve got an u/s and appointment with MFM on the 23rd.

@DamnedSpot: I'm sorry to hear that. What did your Dr say? Or will you make plans at your 3/23 appointment? Sending you internet hugs and positive vibes.

I still don't know when I can exhale and relax. But the 7-week ultrasound went well! Bean looked good and had a heart rate of 149. I'm currently doing progesterone supplements and starting weekly IV intralipids. I'm kind of glad to be with a fertility clinic that's liberal with supportive measures. I'm sure my OB wouldn't be doing any of this and it's just reassuring.

@breakouttheicecream: I'm sorry it has been so rough for you. I hope the different drugs will do the trick.
I'll add you to the board.
@MoonMoon: I'm so glad to hear your ultrasound went well! I'm sure the supportive measures help both physically and mentally. You're a bit more in charge.

Sorry about the third post in a row, but I think I may be missing some of the board dates. Do we really have only two POAS dates this month? I know a lot of you graduated to the due dates board, but I'd still like to make sure everyone who should be is on the board.
I would really appreciate if anyone whose POAS date isn't marked would let me know. Or maybe there are some silent readers who are TTC or might be starting soon? We'd really like the company and we're all really nice, I promise!
Thanks in advance!
coffee bean / 46 posts
@MoonMoon: good morning! 7 weeks, yay! I agree, I think sticking with the clinic probably gets you more of this early info, and that is so nice. Just curious, are the intralipids for something they saw specifically, or are they a normal precautionary measure? Hoping you can take a breath soon and enjoy, that can be a real challenge
AFM, I repeat hcg on Friday morning, trying to keep my expectations low. They did start me on some thyroid meds, and they said that if this pregnancy ends in a miscarriage, getting my abnormal levels stabilized will help any future pregnancies go more smoothly. So I feel good about that. As we've said many times on here, at least there is a plan

@paranundrum: thanks for keeping this updated!
And I'll second her, any lurkers that want to come out and join us? I was there, and I'm so glad I took the leap!
pomegranate / 3393 posts
@DamnedSpot: so from my understanding, it's a therapy for women with multiple miscarriages or unsuccessful ivf attempts, the reasoning being that intralipids suppress the natural killer cells of the woman's immune system that might be attacking a pregnancy. But this clinic offers it to everyone with the philosophy of it doesn't hurt and it might help. Same with progesterone - my levels aren't technically low, they're borderline, but they're having me do the supplements anyway because it can't hurt. I'm sure my OB would not prescribe it for me, and I'm sure many would disagree with the clinical reasoning. I'd be really interested to hear other's thoughts or experiences with these therapies!

My second beta came back, it only went from 50 to 61. Cramps and spotting started yesterday. Doctor wants hcg drawn on Monday, to see if numbers start to go down or what.

@paranundrum: I'm still here! I'm not sure when my POAS date will be until I ovulate, and it's been swinging wildly. If you just want to add me as TBD, I'll update when I know for sure. I don't think it will be until the mid/end of April though.

I'm waiting for a phone call canceling my transfer... Our whole country is pretty much shut down with the Covid-19 threat and hospitals announced yesterday, that all non-urgent procedures and appointments will be postponed until further notice.
Our borders are closed for foreign visitors, all schools and almost everything else is closed until May 1st or until the government decides otherwise. No fathers (or anyone else to support the mother in labor) are allowed to be in the room or even in the hospital during birth.
I hope everyone here is safe, healthy and #StayingtheFHome
