(1) What were your highs (and/or lows) of this past holiday season? Having to work the holidays, and a BFN right after Xmas.

(2) Did you make any New Year's resolutions? Nah, life is stressful enough

(3) Is there anything else you would like to share? DH has a urology appointment on 2/6 and hopefully we'll have an appointment with the fertility clinic around the same time to get the ball rolling and see what our options are with his abnormal semen analysis results.

(4) Are you trying anything "different" this TTC cycle? Not a lot of hope to conceive naturally, but we're not giving up. The fertility doc said he's seen success with DTD after the traditional timeline, so we'll probably try to go until 2 or 3 days after ovulation. Who knows.

Well that positive was short lived....

This was my first chemical so not sure what the exact waiting period is...is it like a later miscarriage or does it run like a later period? - sorry if this is not the venue for it... just a bit confused
(4) Are you trying anything "different" this TTC cycle? Not really

(1) What were your highs (and/or lows) of this past holiday season? It was so nice to feel like a sloth!
(2) Did you make any New Year's resolutions? Yes! I’m focusing on being positive. Seems kind of silly, but 2019 was rough and I’m really trying to not get bogged down by the stuff I can’t control.
(3) Is there anything else you would like to share?
(4) Are you trying anything "different" this TTC cycle? We just finished our fourth cycle with clomid with my OB and had our first appointment with an RE. To do baseline testing, this cycle (and probably the next one) will be unmedicated which is mentally tough because my cycles are so long (35-47 days) and I’m impatient!

I’ve been lurking forever—I hope other lurkers will come out of hiding and participate too!

@paranundrum: The progesterone injections were the only ones that every bothered me. I started with DH giving them to me, but by the end I was able to do them on my own. I always found someone else doing the injection hurt less because they commit to it more (no hesitation) and the puncture is smoother.

@paranundrum: glad it went well! I did zero injections myself and had a friend as backup in case dh was out of town. Too anxious. The inter muscular shots were the worst but I only did the one trigger on the stim cycle (on the fet cycles I did PIO shots for 10 weeks!). Happy to answer any questions if I can!

@paranundrum: are you on crinone or other progesterone now? If so you likely won’t have hen - just the one bigger “trigger” shot at the end. Also, a lot of people I know still self-administered those, I’m just a weenie 🙃. I never even did the littler ones haha.

(1) What were your highs (and/or lows) of this past holiday season? My highs were definitely the amount of BD I managed to sneak in while being with my family! My lows would be getting a double pink eye that lasted a week. Not sexy!!
(2) Did you make any New Year's resolutions? The whole fam is eating healthy now. This is new and big for our 5 year old and she's been great at trying new things.
(4) Are you trying anything "different" this TTC cycle? Every month I tried something different. I have a hard time doing the same thing.. So this month: We are using a fertility monitor! I got 2 highs, 2 peak and another high which was new to me. My OB told me to take Pregnitude and Co10, so that's new this month. I've also tried using a soft cup about 15 mins post BD to " keep it in", not every time but at least when I remember. Otherwise, I continued taking pre-natals and DHA pills and my weekly acupuncture.

@paranundrum: I've been spotting since 11 DPO so I'm pretty sure I'm out - AF is supposed to appear tomorrow, so if I'm still just spotting by Sunday morning, I'll test then.

@DamnedSpot: Welcome! I had almost the same experience as you with your missed miscarriage, except ours was Trisomy 16. Let me know if you ever need someone to talk to about it ️ And good luck in the coming months!

Does anyone have any insight into weird cycle lengths? Since my period has come back after my D&C, my cycle has been alternating in length - 46 days, 33, 46, 33, and this last one will be 46 again if my period shows up on Saturday. I've been taking OPKs so I know I'm just ovulating late on the longer cycles, but this is SO annoying.
