I finally O'ed, so I think my current cycle is sitting at 52ish days. The good news is that we hit O-5, O-2, and O, so fingers crossed! Also, my annual with my OB/gyn is on Wednesday, so going to discuss interventions (although hopefully they won't be necessary) and also find out if there's anything I can do to regulate and reduce the length of my cycle. We've been TTCing for coming up on 15 months now (with one miscarriage in there), but it's probably only been about 8 cycles because of how long my cycles are.

@raspberries: Hurray for finally O-ing! And also hurray for having a backup plan with the OB. Seems you are setup for success.

@raspberries: thanks for this I'm trying to see any rheumatologist in a 50 mile radius, they're all scheduling months out
But as for you, good timing!! We're in the tww together I hope the appt goes well, and you feel listened to and that they have some good suggestions for moving forward!

@Shybee23: I'm sorry to hear that. I hope both you and @MoonMoon get some answers soon!
@raspberries: Great to hear your cycle is moving along! It's good you have an appointment lined up, but I hope you get a lucky this cycle regardless!

@yellowbeach: My betas were:
2/14: 89
2/17: 320
2/21: 1991
Everything looks okay now and no more spotting. Fingers crossed!

@yellowbeach: Thank you for the kind thoughts! I had my progesterone drawn too on some of those dates, but I decided to stop as it was just driving me crazy. It would bob around the 15 mark. I'm just going to wait for my dating US to be done next week!

Ugh. I've had a frustrating couple of days. Yesterday my Ob-Gyn office scheduled me for a regular 8wk prenatal appointment on 3/11. They didn't care about my age, DH diagnosis, the day of spotting, etc. They had no recommendations one way or another about the fertility appointment.
After a couple of hours all together of being on hold with the fertility clinic, they also didn't seem to care one way or another or offer any guidance. But they did say I can still come in for my 3/3 appointment and they could confirm pregnancy, test betas, etc so I decided to keep that appointment because waiting until 3/3 will be easier than waiting until 3/11.
Sigh! Pregnancy tests still looking good.

@Mrs.Panda: can't wait to hear how your ultrasound goes!
@raspberries: fingers crossed on your tww, and good that you have a backup Drs appointment too! Must be a relief to have ovulated and timed DTD so nicely!

@DamnedSpot: I'm sorry to hear this! I know additional uncertainty and worry on top of ttc is so stressful. Good luck on your tww and I hope you get answers soon.

@MoonMoon: ugh I’m sorry they were so unhelpful. Hopefully once you get established with doctors they’ll be better listeners. That test looks amazing though! I hope you’ll end up with an experience like mine - I got pregnant with #2 when we had stopped doing cycles with my RE in prep to move across the country - even though it wasn’t “their” cycle, they still did betas and I got a 6w ultrasound and got to see things early.

@bhbee: I really hope so too! Thank you for always being such a calming voice of reason

@MoonMoon: that test looks fantastic to me. I’m definitely pulling for you this cycle!!!! Sorry those offices weren’t so helpful or your situation. That is always a bummer.

@MoonMoon: this test looks great! I'm sorry that the offices were so indifferent in their responses though. As others have said, hopefully they'll be better listeners as things progress!

@MrsJBeeG: @DamnedSpot: thank you ladies! I guess I'll know more 3/3. I keep wanting to embrace where I am now and not worry about the future and what ifs but it's very hard.
clementine / 787 posts
@MoonMoon: I understand how hard it is to embrace where you are now. I’m at 23 weeks with all signs showing a healthy little girl developing perfectly. And I still worry because of so many losses in the past. One day at a time. Fingers crossed for you!

@MrsJBeeG: I'm so happy to hear of your healthy pregnancy! And you're so right that there's no magical time for worry to go away. "one day at a time" is a good motto

@MoonMoon: your test looks great! Hopefully you'll get some confirmation soon that things are going well.

@Chuckles: thank you! Counting down the days to 3/3.
Question for the board: How would you date this pregnancy? LMP started 1/21. Cycles usually 26 days. Ovulation, according to Opk 2/4 or 2/5. DTD 2/2, 2/4, 2/5.
nectarine / 2358 posts
@MoonMoon: I would say O is 24 hours after your initial positive OPK. So like 5w1d? I’m also getting a dating US on 3/3!

@Mrs.Panda: 3/3 is only 3 days away! Can't wait to hear results of your dating U/S

New cycle started at last! The last one was a solid week longer than usual, so annoying.
My next appointment is on the 10th and then I'll find out if we can finally do a FET.

@paranundrum: so exciting! The 10th isn't too far away. I hope you get good news

@paranundrum: Hurray for AF finally coming and going. Crossing everything for a good report and a transfer this cycle!

@MoonMoon: @Mrs.Panda: thinking of you both today
@paranundrum: glad a new cycle has started for you, and I’m really hoping they give you the go-ahead for a transfer!

The appointment at the fertility clinic went really well! Bloodwork levels have me at 6 weeks exactly and the U/S showed a heartbeat. I'm relieved and still a little in shock. They're going to look at my bloodwork and see if I need any supportive supplements like progesterone and I'm back next week for another U/S. I'm going to cancel my Obgyn appt for now and stick with this practice until they discharge me.

@MoonMoon: So glad to see this, I’m literally crying tears of joy for you, mama Wishing you health and peace and a beautiful baby

@DamnedSpot: omg thank you and thank you for checking in last night! Just noticed I never responded, I thought I had! Couldn't do this without HB right now...

@chypmunk: checking in, just wanted to see how you're doing and if you have any updates

@MoonMoon: YES! Best news! Congrats on such a great appointment and results.
nectarine / 2358 posts
@MoonMoon: So happy for your US! I'm sure you're so relieved!
As for me, they cancelled my ultrasound. It was a clinic that does low cost ultrasounds and their office scheduled me before their guidelines, which is 7 weeks. I'm 6w3d. I guess I'll have to wait until my actual OB appointment on 3/26.
nectarine / 2648 posts
@Mrs.Panda: UGH that sucks! More pee sticks then, or will manage to just wait it out?
persimmon / 1385 posts
@MoonMoon: YAY!!! I've been lurking in here and I've been pulling for you so hard. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to give you false hope, knowing all cases different, but my DH got a dismal morphology numbers on his SA after we were trying for a while too and I thought all was lost and then bam! She's now a year old . I'm so excited for you and I'm keeping everything crossed that it all goes smoothly from here.
pomegranate / 3393 posts
@yellowbeach: @bhbee: @MrsJBeeG: thank you!
@Mrs.Panda: ack, so annoying a mistake on their part! I know 3/26 is only 3 weeks but I'm sure it feels like an eternity of waiting.
@BadgerMom: thank you! And I love to hear that you guys had similar issues and ended up with a beautiful baby! The fertility doc kept saying "but do you have sperm?" and we'd try to say "yes but-" and he'd be like, "but do you have sperm?" it was kind of funny.
