@MaisyMay: congrats! I've seen you around here for a while and am happy to see you've finally got a BFP!
As for me, I'm 8DPO and am twiddling my thumbs. I'm still not too hopeful for this month, but I'd rather be happily surprised than disappointed! AF is due on 4/28, so the earliest I'd test is 4/30 if she's late (and I can hold out)! Hope everyone has a nice weekend

@MaisyMay - congratulations!!
This month has been very weird temp wise for me. I had positive OPKs on CD16 and 17, plus O pain I think (some pinching on my right side), but only a very very slight overall increase in temps. Last month overall my post O temps were much higher. This month it's between 97.5 - 97.9. Today is 16DPO, and my temps are still mid range. Pre-O temps are typically 96.9-97.5 for me.
If I don't get AF by early next week, maybe I'll test? Last month was quite depressing with about 5 BFNs... gotta save these tests!!

@Emilie: Oh wow, 16 DPO? How long is your luteal phase usually?? I'm impressed that you're holding out testing! I'm not sure I could wait that long! Although I guess if last cycle you tested a bunch with no positive results, I'm not surprised you're holding out this time around. Good luck to you!

@Adira My last luteal phase was 24 days (temp spike and O pain - was not using OPKs at the time), but I also spent 10 of those days overseas traveling, so I think that messed up my ovulation. This is my second month temping so I really am not sure what my normal luteal phase is.
First month off the pill, my cycle was 31 days. Second month, 32 days, third month (with traveling) was 46 days, and now it's my fourth month.

@Emilie: Oh wow! That's a long luteal phase! That would be so frustrating! Hopefully this cycle is shorter for you. No wait, scratch that. Hopefully this cycle has better results for you!

@Adria - thank you!!! and yes, it was SUPER frustrating having high temps for 24 days!

@Emilie: Especially with two cycles that were shorter, you were probably flying off the walls, thinking you HAD to be pregnant! No wonder you took FIVE tests! I would've done the same! I hope you don't have to endure the same again this time around.

@birdofafeather: Right there with you. I'm on CD 36 and I *think* I got a positive OPK yesterday. The test line was as dark as the control line, but last cycle the test line was way darker than the control line. However, my last batch of OPKs had lighter control lines than the ones I'm using now, so I'm thinking that made it look darker...if that makes sense. Ugh, definitely gonna start temping next cycle so I can have more of an idea of what's going on.

@lilteacherbee: glad i'm not the only one! fingers crossed for us this weekend and cycle. temping has been great for me, or i would be really worrying! TCOYF was a great read for a type-a like me! **trying** to trust my body!

Sooo I just O'd yesterday at CD 39, so I'll be heading over to the Early May thread. I'll keep checking to see if anyone gets their BFP!

VERY surprised to be a part of this thread. I O'd on CD23 as opposed to last cycle which was CD30. I'm POAS Saturday morning 12DPO if AF hasn't shown up, but I'm cramping and had spotting yesterday so already counting myself out
