Brand of test you'll be using: I think it's called first response.
Favourite food: it's a tie between cheese and chocolate.

@anonysquire: electro acupuncture is where they attach an electrical current to the needles for more intense treatment. I'm gettin my ovaries zapped! =P
cantaloupe / 6610 posts
@mrs. bird: I'm excited for you! My acu was so confident when I told him I hadn't had any LH surge at all, and he replied, "We'll take care of that." There was no question in his mind! I hope it works for you!!!
blogger / apricot / 349 posts
@anonysquire: I'm bored too! btw: thank you so much for keeping this thread so up to date!!!
Where are you in your cycle: CD12 waiting to O (usually CD20)
Any symptoms: none
Brand of test you'll be using: internet cheapies from amazon (wolfo?) and i have my digital OPK
Favourite food: so hard to choose... .. love me some fries! lol..
cantaloupe / 6923 posts
@Hanzabelle: @mssally: Now I am starving for chocolate, cheese and fries. All together lol.
nectarine / 2522 posts
@anonysquire: oh I love fries with BBQ sauce melted cheese and bacon pieces... It so bad but sooooooo good! Lol
cantaloupe / 6923 posts
@Hanzabelle: Omg, never heard of that but it sounds freaking amazing! We have a local place around here that serves a huge plate of cheese fries with their special sauce (fry sauce except with BBQ instead of ketchup) I die everytime I get them, I probably only get them once a year but they are amazing!
nectarine / 2522 posts
@anonysquire: Yummmmmm! yeah I haven't had them in ages and I'm feeling like a bloated whale today so there is no way I feel like them now. Urgh.
papaya / 10570 posts
@Anonysquire: Will you change my POAS date to a question mark please?! I haven't O'd yet!! I'm not entirely surprised, with it being my first month off BCP. It's still irritating, though - why can't this be instant and easy like everything else in my life?! Lol.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
Woohoo @mrsbird! My acu wasn't ready to break out the big guns yet. I'm so annoyed with the whole acu process (that was 5 months of acupuncture in a row) that I'm skipping it this cycle. Need to save my sanity, my time and my money. Feels good to step back a little bit. If Jenny Renny is wrong and I don't get my BFP this cycle, I'll probably call her again for cycle 7 and see if I can talk her into the big guns.
Okay.
Where are you in your cycle: CD13. My cycles have finally started regulating after BCP (6 months off) and I have been Oing around CD19-21.
Any symptoms: Is being annoyed with TTC a symptom?
Favorite food: Oh geez. Delicious cheese. Sushi. A really fantastic burger.
Brand of test you will be testing with: I'm using the CBEFM this cycle! Will start backing up with digital OPKs around CD17 and testing with cheapo HPT from Amazon.
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
Oh, I'll play.
Where are you in your cycle: 11dpo. I think I'm back to maaaaaybe pregnant?
Any symptoms: Oh dear, there have been a lot this time. Backache and cramps, tender breasts but only suddenly when normally they start up earlier and stop around now. And an overall "off" kinda feeling. I'm trying to ignore them, 'cause ky body does so enjoy screwin with me.
Favorite food: Mmmm...food...I need to get me some breakfast...
Brand of test you will be testing with: I have one cheapo left.
blogger / honeydew / 7081 posts
@mrs. bird: Hey there! I'm charting, I was using OPKs, but it got really expensive (even with cheapos), so I decided to give it a break for a while. I'm hesitant to get the CBEFM because of my wonky cycles.
So far, I haven't had an annovulatory cycle, just extremely delayed ones. My GP is useless, and won't prescribe anything to induce AF unless it has been over 90 days. I have been having a lot of success with naturopathic treatments though - I can message you those if you're interested.
blogger / honeydew / 7081 posts
Where are you in your cycle: CD7, the boring phase of the cycle
Any symptoms: got a wonky temp spike this morning (like, to post-O temps) but I also woke up with a cold, so I'm thinking I have a bit of a fever. Super bloated, too.
Favorite food: chocolate cake.
Brand of test you will be testing with: IF I test, it will be with the one FRER I have left in my drawer.
papaya / 10570 posts
@Grace. Ooooooh, that sounds a bit promising, huh? Fingers crossed for you!
nectarine / 2177 posts
Where are you in your cycle: CD 12
Any symptoms: Not physical--just excited and nervous as this is month one of trying!
Favorite food: Just one? For the time being I am obsessed with chocolate chip cookie dough froyo!
Brand of test you will be testing with: I have a drawer of a few FRERs and digitals, if they are needed...
pomelo / 5041 posts
This is super fun!
Where are you in your cycle: 10DPO...starting to get excited, but really nervous at the same time.
Any symptoms: I've had quite a few, but last night's killer cramps (lower than normal) without any period seemed to possibly be due to implantation?
Favorite food: Cheesecake
Brand of test you will be testing with: Clearblue Easy Digital...we have 3 I'm saving until we pass the AF due date - my cycles are really regular.
nectarine / 2522 posts
@ambular1025: how r u holding out?? I'm 8dpo and dying to test!!!
pomelo / 5041 posts
@Hanzabelle: do you chart? I'd love to see yours! I took a test at 7dpo and it was a BFN, but that was way too early to be looking at one, so we decided to just wait and see if AF came, and if not then test. Since this is attempt #5 I'm doing everything I can to try to not get too excited since I've seen a lot of BFN's in this process already.
nectarine / 2522 posts
@ambular1025: No I don't chart.. not yet anyway. This is our first month TTC and my cycles have always been super regular and my body seems to be pretty good at telling me when I O.... well I guess we'll see.
If we don't have any luck in the first 2 months I'll start charting I hope this is your month!!

Where are you in your cycle: CD 14
Any symptoms: Nope. Headache, but that's caffeine/sugar withdrawal!
Favorite food: Just started a new diet so my choices are slim but an occasional treat is sliced banana with sunflower seed butter. It's super good!
Brand of test you will be testing with: Cheapie wondfos. I have like a million of them.
clementine / 854 posts
Where are you in your cycle: CD 14, waiting to O but my cycles are usually around 35 days
Symptoms: none
Favorite food: steak or sushi
Brand of tests: I'm using Wondfo OPK's until they get close to a positive. Then I confirm with Clearblue Easy Opks. For HPTs, I use wondfos and confirm FRER.
pear / 1974 posts
Fun!!
Where are you in your cycle: 7/8 DPO, first cycle TTC. Going so sloooowww
Any symptoms: Really, not any. I had sore boobs first couple of days after O and also I've been having nightmares about dead babies talking to me the past 2 nights, if that's a symptom, then I'm giving birth to Rosemary's baby.
Favorite food: This is a big question! I really love Korean food, specifically galbi jjim (short ribs stew with veggies) and japchae (glass noodles with vegetables), and I love french toast!
Brand of test you will be testing with: I have a box of FRER and the CB digital also. Honestly, I'm not really dying to test though, I just want this cycle over with.
cherry / 245 posts
I'll play!
Where are you in your cycle: CD 9 out of normal 31
Any symptoms: None yet!
Favorite food: Um...This is a hard question. Right now I would have to say Pappasitos Fajitas and queso. YUM!
Brand of test you will be testing with: Wondfo's for both OPK and HPT. I got clear positives with the OPK's last month, but for the HPT's I will need to pick something else up to confirm.
pomelo / 5041 posts
@Hanzabelle: Thank you! Good luck to you too! One of my best friends got pregnant on her first try, so I know it's possible.
clementine / 972 posts
@anonysquire thanks for coordinating - this is fun!
Where are you in your cycle: CD 14 out of normal 31 - I should be somewhere close to O soon? Not really sure...
Any symptoms: None yet, though I am hungry.. but that's pretty normal for me! (plus all this talk about favey foods and it's close to 12 noon)
Favorite food: Today I'll go with rosemary goat cheese mac n cheese (michael symon's recipe). It's so so good
Brand of test you will be testing with: dollar store cheapos

I've never posted on the month boards before and would like to join you ladies We are in our 11th month trying and during these past months I've popped in and out of HB and WB to get some great advice and stories (more of a lurker than a poster)
I just started the TWW and will POAS 9/12
Where are you in your cycle: CD 16 and about 2DPO. I have 28-30 day cycles.
Any symptoms: I feel some cramping but nothing major - too early!
Favorite food: Cheese - soft cheeses especially And sashimi
Brand of test you will be testing with: Probably first response
cantaloupe / 6923 posts
Random question but does anyone else have UTI-like symptoms during the 2WW? I had this exact same thing last month and I got a BFN so not really feeling positive but not sure why I feel like this. I have a ton of pressure in my bladder or something. Like when I walk around I feel my bladder with every step. Anyways, just a little TMI to wake you up this morning
pear / 1750 posts
Where are you in your cycle: CD 5 - it seems like O day is so far away!
Any symptoms: Just a splitting headache all day. I know it's probably not related anything, just really annoying.
Brand of test you'll be using: I'm going to get the FRER cause I know I'll be eager to test early.
Favourite food: Pizza...but rosemary goat cheese mac and cheese sounds great, @Mrs. Lovejoy!
grapefruit / 4079 posts
Where are you in your cycle: 9dpo
Any symptoms: cramping, and bloated 6dpo with temp dip, lower back pain yesterday, and very tired. However, I did return to work Monday so that could explain both.
Brand of test you'll be using: First Response Early Detection or something like that
Favourite food: cheese, especially when it's fried.
Tested this morning, got a BFN but that's not shocking since I am only 9dpo. I will wait till this weekend now.

@anonysquire: it could be due to all the extra BDing... Before we went on our honeymoon, one of our doctor friends half-joked about writing me a prescription for antibiotics in case of "honeymoon cystitis", aka UTI from too much sexy time! I had the same symptoms last month, but I think part of it was wishful thinking that I was PG and therefore needed to pee every 30 minutes!
kiwi / 637 posts
Yay - I want to play along!
Where are you in your cycle: CD14 of 33
Any symptoms: Nada
Brand of test you'll be using: Wondfo cheapies and CB Digital, if (hopefully) needed!
Favourite food: Do I have to pick one??? Hmmm, I guess BBQ hamburgers with avocado and fancy mustard and hot peppers and Brie cheese (oh no - just realized I'm going to miss Brie soooooo much!)
cantaloupe / 6923 posts
@Ocean girl: That makes sense! I am thinking like 2 days ago I had EWCM and ovulated hopefully, not my CM is the non sticky type so I think we will be giving the BDing a break or atleast going to every other day. My bladder is angry lol.

Does anyone else stalk this website? http://www.twoweekwait.com/bfpsymptoms/dpo/
I am totally symptom checking bad, and of course my body thinks its hilarious and starts making me feel things that are not there. I really just want this cycle to be done... I am feeling overwhelmed in life right now and the 2WW is torture!!!
