@LindsayInNY: I was thiiiiiis close to paying for a reading from Cheri22 this month. But now I'm so close to O I don't want negativity to affect my chances if the answer doesn't match up. It makes no sense, I know.

@littlek: yep makes my job seem VERY boring. But I get to live vicariously.

@littlek: great idea creating a 6+ months POAS thread.
I'm getting my day 14 ultrasound today. Should be triggering today and hopefully the IUI will be tomorrow.

@cmbknyc: I was thinking about getting a reading but bummed she might tell me that it was months away and I would be so discouraged.

Ok, just had my ultrasound. My follicles are not quite large enough. Gotta come in on Thursday for another ultrasound. IUI should be Friday. I'm actually really glad I have a few more days before the IUI.

@mrsjyw: thank you!
@littlek: yeah, we just moved into a house this past weekend so things have been crazy. I'm going to be much more relax by Friday.

@bluestriped bee: Your IUI is getting close! That's exciting. FX!

@cmbknyc: Thank you.
@Snowdrop: Thank you. I have gone through 2 completed IUIs but they were unsuccessful. I have gone through 3 IUIs that ended up being cancelled due to various reasons. This is my third hopefully completed IUI. If this is unsuccessful, we are going to IVF next.
This would be my 19th cycle at TTC. Never seen a BFP.

@bluestriped bee: hope this time is the charm!!
Day 2 of Clomid here. I like this part of the cycle best because it involves zero testing and lots of hope. I am only on cd 4! I won't start getting psycho into cd11.

Hi y'all, hope you don't mind if I just paste my info from the other POAS board below. I've also been feeling like I don't have the energy for these boards anymore, but didn't realize there was a 6mo+ one so maybe I'll just make myself at home right here!
Hello friends! The hubs and I have been ttc for several months now on and off, and I've joined these POAS boards on and off as well. Looks like February is on! I enjoy the community so much but also struggle with staying calm and managing my expectations. Anyway so much good luck to everyone this month, but also praying we all get the babies we were destined to have, whatever month it is they are conceived. FX!
Estimated O Date: Jan. 31st
POAS/AF date: officially v-day 2/14, but let's be honest I'm going to start testing at like 7dpo as always!
Cycle #: 6
Chart link: I'm not charting anymore
Trying new this cycle: maca, royal jelly, epo, having hotter sex, and finally sticking to eod pattern
What do your sizzling hot V-Day plans involve? We have a tradition of making yummy cheese fondue at home, and hopefully freaking out about our bfp!
And because I am craving chocolate right now, what is your favorite V-Day candy? Single origin dark chocolate please!

Also just want to throw my support out there for everyone in whatever situation you are currently in and I'll do my best to keep up from here on out. @bhbee sorry about your chemical! @sandy have fun in nyc! We just moved out of NYC and I already miss it tons. Thought about visiting this weekend but remembered the Super Bowl traffic may be a lil too intense for me!

@cmbknyc: That sounds like such a cool job!
@littlek: I am worried about the same thing for the reading- I am already struggling to remain positive, so I don't want to feel defeated if its not the month we got back in the reading.
@bluestriped bee: FX for third time being the charm!

Wanted to pop in here and send you ladies some good, sticky vibes! I hope that you all get BFPs very, very soon
PS-if I already responded here (which would be embarrassing), I'm very sorry! I have thought about doing it a million times, but I'm not sure if I ever got around to it

@buttermilk: I think quite a few girls in here were feeling the same way about the POAS threads. But with a smaller group I think the tone will be a little more tolerable. And just keep up at your own pace!
I see you are using maca. I'm just starting it this month and I'm so excited about it. I've heard of royal jelly but don't know much about it or where to get it. Can you please tell me what "epo" is?
And woot! woot! to the hotter sex! I think that may do the trick!

@MrsMcD: epo = evening primrose oil. Did you find some good info about maca?
nectarine / 2086 posts
@MrsMcD: yeah evening primrose oil is supposed to be good for increasing cm. I don't generally have an issue in that area but I figure it can only help.
Royal jelly is a food that bees make that is fed to the queen bee exclusively for her whole life and she goes on to produce over 2000 eggs per day. So it's thought to promote good egg health. Lol. My hubs has a good time with that one, always rolling his eyes when he gives it to me because as he likes to say "yeah because what works for bees bodies, works for deez bodies" haha. I have him taking it too but now I can't remember why lol.
I bought mine at whole foods, it's in a jar in honey.

@buttermilk: I gave it to my husband and he hated it. I told him to just eat it and keep the commentary to himself.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@Happygal: thanks and yes, I have read great things about maca! I've had it in smoothies for three days. I put it in my husbands smoothies too!
@buttermilk: your post nearly has me years! That's so funny you have started to make your husband eat the royal jelly too and you don't know why. Bahahahaha!!! I am basically at that point too! I told my husband that if I'm not pregnant this month then he will be eating all sorts of things next month that I have read helps fertility. Good thing our guys are such great sports!

@buttermilk: hahaha, your DH's rhyme made me laugh! I've just gotten to that point now where I feel like people come and go on the normal TTC board and I just roll over every month so it is nice to have a 6+ board.
@littlek: Love the comment to your husband, it sounds sooo familiar!

I got a positive on my OPK today!!! We BD last night and will plan to again tonight :). I just sent a text to my husband with a photo of the pee stick

Estimated O Date: TBD, hopefully today/tomorrow (postive OPKs yesterday and this morning)
POAS/AF date: TBD
Cycle #: 6, month #11
Chart link: Can't link it at work.
Trying new this cycle: Clomid CD 3-7, BD EOD until O is confirmed, Raspberry Leaf tea
Are you planning on doing anything for Valentines day? RELAX!!!
persimmon / 1259 posts
@sandy: I sent my hubs a photo of my pee stick yesterday too!! Of course, we didn't BD last night because I am SOO sick. But we did BD Monday night and will tonight (I'm feeling better!) So I hope I'm actually O'ing. In my previous cycles, I have felt O so strongly, but I don't have many symptoms right now. But maybe because it's so much earlier than normal due to Clomid, or maybe because I'm sick I don't notice everything else. I don't know, I'm just hoping the Clomid worked!!
cantaloupe / 6687 posts
@sarahnicole218: fx for you
The only discouraging thing that I'm trying not to overthink is that FF is right on track (to the day) in predicting my fertile days and O day based on just my period. We BD according to FF...and the OPK just basically confirmed what FF says...so why is this cycle any different. I know it's so negative to think that way...I'm trying to push it out of my mind. I'm trying to convince myself that this will be the cycle - I've been eating better and drinking more water.
