so bummed.

DS is 2.5 years old ++ and is day trained. He wears his underwear to school for many weeks now. We've been doing fine (well, we have struggles here and there, but generally fine) except yesterday when I went to pick DS from daycare, the teacher told me LO had a poop accident. I was told he sat at the table and suddenly cried hysterically. Teacher went over to ask him what's wrong, but he wouldn't say anything. Until at one point, they asked him, do you have to use the potty? DS nodded and said yeah. It was too late.

Teacher went on to tell me that he doesn't use his words. She also told me if it happens once more, we have to go back to pull ups.

DS always tell me when he needs to poop and pee in the potty. I am not sure why he won't do the same at school.

I don't have a point to this post, just bummed. 2 steps forward 3 steps back... I am sure it is incredibily silly when I look back at it in a year, but just bummed at the moment. Like I did something wrong or get scolded by the teacher, and I couldn't control the outcome.

Do you have any set backs / frustrations on your potty training journey recently?
