Well, I have known the day was coming for over a week, tomorrow I am going in to be assessed for possible induction. If my own OB were in town it would be for sure, but she is away this week, so I am in the hands of another OB (who I know through work and I am comfortable with). Tomorrow we head to the hospital at 7:30, to decide if it is time to get started.
My hospital does eased-in inductions, where they spend 2-3 days prepping the cervix with cervedil prior to doing IV pitocin, so even if we get started, it will likely be a few days before baby day. That makes it even harder to know how to feel.
Despite hyper emesis, pregnancy-induced hypertention, and gestational diabetes, I really love being pregnant, and I am sad it is almost over! However, I am so excited to meet my baby, and finally see what sex they are (we are team green).
We are as prepared as we are going to be at home, so that feels pretty good.
Wish me luck!
