Underneath the layer of fun size Mr.Goodbars, Snickers and Peanut M&Ms are mini Hershey bars and a bunch of Reeses. I am using my largest mixing bowl.
Leftovers will not go into to my freezer for a treat a day like last year. Nope, I will take them all to the dentist tomorrow.

@lawbee11: I always got rolos in my bag as a kid, but I swear I have never seen them in stores!!
My little bowl looks so sad compared to yall's! Our property manager said to only get one bag because it'll just be a few little ones as the big kids go to the neighborhoods. I bought two bags just in case. Gah!

I have a basket with packs of yogurt-covered raisins in it, on the off-chance that we actually get any trick-or-treaters. We didn't get any last year, but I decorate for Halloween and didn't want to be empty-handed, so I bought stuff I'm okay giving LO once and a while.
Oops, LO just discovered the treats and asked for a box.

Here is ours. A good mix of chocolate and fruity. Hoping this gets us through the night! How much does everyone give out to each kid? I think we'll start with one piece each and then as the night goes on ramp it up if we're not running low.

Last year we had 120 pieces (gave two pieces to each kid) and we ran out. So this year we have 210 pieces!

@fussygal: I just had my first 2 trick or treaters! They were dressed up like wizards from Harry Potter. I gave them 2 pieces each.

@lawbee11: that is the best mix of candy! I love Heath bars and I love caramel and chocolate!
We have a bowl of fun size candy and 8 boxes of full size candy. We get a lot of trick or treaters and my husband loves handing out candy.

This is about a third of the total amount we got, but trick or treating supposedly started 45 minutes ago and we haven't had a single person! It's been cold and rainy here so I'm afraid we'll get no one and we'll have to eat the candy ourselves... (My husband is crossing his fingers for this scenario)

Junior mints, peppermint patties, Dumdums, and play dough. We try to be as allergy/health restriction friendly as possible (but only candy I would want to eat the leftovers of).

There are some amazing candy bowls on here! I thought we were going to be light on trick or treaters because of the rain here but it tapered off and we went through 15 pounds of candy in under two hours. At some points I was giving out like a single tootsie roll while yelling for my husband to pour more candy into the bowl, they came in groups of like 15 at a time!

Sooo we're out of candy. Apparently DH had been giving them 2-3, weell now it's all gone! Oops. And I didn't even get any!!!
