Morning bee-ple!
Please pray for my husband's coworker Victor and his wife Diana. This morning, she and their unborn baby are undergoing fetal surgery for amniotic band syndrome (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amniotic_band_syndrome).
There is a chance this will put her into labor which at this point would be OK healthwise as she's in the mid 30-weeks, but it would be a problem for them insurance-wise so hopefully that won't happen.
I'll update when I know something.

No news yet but a correction -- she's just 28 weeks so hope that baby can keep baking a lot longer! Thanks all for your Ts and Ps

Oh this is awful. I am so sorry for your friends. I googled ABS and that is a condition I never knew could occur. I am really praying for your friends. Please, please, please keep us updated.

Small update...apparently the surgery is still going on but it's going well. I have been badgering my husband all morning about this so I'll update you when I have more news. Thanks for your prayers!

Another update! Surgery is over and everything is OK so far. No labor. Thanks for caring and I'll let you know if I hear anything else!

Apparently she's having contractions and they're trying to control them. Not sure if this is normal or bad....

Hi everyone! Looks like things are under control. The doctor is hoping to discharge the mama-to-be from the hospital tomorrow! Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.
