Another update for any of you who would like it - we went to visit the mom-to-be in the hospital Saturday. She was still in there but was released yesterday. She had contractions for a few days and they were literally wheeling her to the OR for a c-section but they called it off at the last minute and the baby's still baking! She's at 29 weeks and they hope to keep the baby in until 32 weeks or more. There is not much room for the baby even after the surgery (the sac is divided into two chambers when before it was three chambers) so she may outgrow the space soon.
Anyway thanks for your prayers and please keep remembering this family in prayer because they have a tough road and financially speaking it's going to be a real challenge!

She is still in the hospital and has had some transfusions to get more platelets (??) but she needs to gain about 10 more ounces before she can go home. @mrsmcd thanks for asking!!

@MrsMcD: She did not have any of the potential disfigurements that can happen so that was good! I don't know what the platelet thing is about but I guess with transfusions it's fine. So yes, I think she is physically fine as a rule! Thanks for caring
