What physical retail stores have a decent selection of preemie sizes?
My cousin's daughter just gave birth to twins and her mom has been looking all over for preemie hats!

I think Carter's has the most options.

@locavore_mama: yes, I bought a ton of stuff at Carter's when LO was born. He was in preemie about a month.

Our Carter's has a bunch of preemie options in store. Target also has some and I have seen a tiny selection at local baby stores.

Carter's and Janie and Jack and Gymboree have them in store.

Also Carter's just one you newborn size is incredibly small - preemie like. You can get it at target.

Carters is probably easiest and fastest depending on how close it is to her. When we needed preemie clothes right away we were able to go out and grab everything we needed from there. And just in case, I think BRU carries preemie diapers.

I've seen Preemie sizes at Babies R Us. I think Carter's brand though, so if you have a Carter's store, that would probably be your best bet.

Out target has one or two items, and the actual carters store has a decent selection, as does our buy buy baby.

@locavore_mama: Congrats to your cousin's daughter. How many weeks were her twins? My Target and Babies R Us each has a small selection of Carter's preemie. And as someone else mentioned, Carter's NB is really small but long, depending on the babies' proportions.

Honestly, I think I have seen the most at Walmart. Its their line of the Carters stuff and since they are (hopefully) only going to be in it for a while, it should hold up fine.

Agree with the Carter's suggestion. Also want to second @winniebee: that the Carter's NB size is really small...

Carter's and target. I've had two tiny babies so far and finding preemie stuff is always a pain! My youngest is still under 6 lbs and she's in Carter's newborn stuff and it's not huge on her though.

I have seen a ton of clothes at babies R us and Gymboree. But like other PPers have said... sounds like it's a location issue.
