I've been really down in the dumps too. But my issue is that I'm on modified bed rest because of contractions which is boring and stressful. And all the laying around is doing a serious number on my back. I wake up in the morning wanting to cry because my back hurts so badly. And I can't do any of the things that normally help back pain for me (really hot baths, Advil, working out). I'm just so over being pregnant and ready to get to full term so this baby can come out healthy. Just hit 29 weeks today and it seems so far away.

I most definitely did, from day 1! I was so happy when pregnancy was over. Hang in there!

yup. I was actually diagnosed with depression around 18 weeks. it's been a rough road!! I found that opening up to my husband more about how I was feeling or what was going on helped, as well as being able to talk to others on here and the facebook due date group I'm in.

When I was pregnant with my second, we had just moved to a new state, and I cried all the time. I was super lonely and upset, which was magnified by the pregnancy hormones. Just try and do something that will make you feel better (shopping? pedicure? yummy foods? working out?) and just accept it. You are totally allowed to feel down in the dumps for no reason

I've felt this way too a few times. Fortunately it hasn't lasted long. I think the advice from @MamaBehr: is good. Be good to yourself.

Oh yes! I had very bad baby blues! It definitley passes, but takes all different amounts of time for different people. Babies are a huge life change Lean on those around you, that helps a lot!

I've struggled with it. A combination of being unemployed and moving has made things tough on me.
It's basically like a long PMS too. PJs, ice cream, and chick flick might help. Pushing through and making yourself go outside and walk can help also.

I have found myself getting angry and then crying because of it. lol. I have a history of depression and anxiety and I'm med-free right now, I can't compare what I'm feeling lately to that at all, so I consider myself doing well. I'm so sorry that you're feeling this way, please talk to a doctor if it gets worse or interferes with your functioning! xoxox

Awww.. I hate pregnancy blues. I actually had semi-bad post partum blues for a week. I was crying because I thought my son was mad at me for being gone for 4 days (I had a csection) and then bringing home a new baby. When I got home from the hospital, he looked at me like I was a stranger for a second and I started bawling. UGH.. Hate hormones. I feel 100% better now. It'll go away I promise!!!
